What we're looking for (must-have):

• 6-8+ years building production software, including a real architecture or principal-engineer chapter where you owned system design end to end.
• Deep MERN expertise — you can architect and go hands-on in Node.js and React without a handoff.
• Strong cloud architecture skills on at least one major provider (AWS / GCP / Azure) — networking, security, scaling, and cost.
• Demonstrated experience designing systems in a regulated or high-stakes domain: healthcare (HIPAA/PHI), payments (PCI-DSS), fintech, or similar.
• The judgment to make irreversible decisions and the communication to bring a team along with you.
• Accountability for the outcome of your architecture in production — not just the diagram.

Nice to have:

• HIPAA / healthcare compliance in production — audit trails, BAA-covered infrastructure, PHI access controls.
• Payment systems experience — Stripe, Braintree, PCI-DSS environments, tokenization, reconciliation.
• Event-driven architecture, microservices, and high-availability system design.
• Experience in a multi-product, consulting, or venture-studio environment where context-switching is the norm.
• An AI-native development practice and opinions on how AI changes architecture and delivery.

• Work closely with product managers and engineers to design, implement, test and continually improve scalable frontend and backend services.
• Develop products using agile methods and tools.
• Develop commercial grade software that is user friendly and suitable for a global audience.
• Plan, create and execute (manual and automated) tests.
• Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Staying up to date with current technologies and providing insights on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors.

• Fluency in any one of JavaScript, TypeScript or Python.
• Strong problem solving skills. 
• Should have built large scalable enterprise applications from scratch.
• Strong experience in architectural patterns, High level designs.
• Experience in Nosql and SQL DBs.

• 2 - 6 years of software development experience in a professional environment
• 2.5 - 3 years of relevant experience in Node.js
• Experience in Android applications, directives, services etc.,
• Experience with Bootstrap 4.x+ (or internal framework)
• Experience in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript
• Able to integrate and use external (open source) libraries
• Develop high-performance and scalable APIs to serve clients.
• Experience in the creation of scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience in writing reusable, testable and efficient code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of well-written APIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communications, ability to learn quickly and a willingness to work and add value to the team
• Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Android, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UIUX design
• Experience in the creation of scalable RESTful APIs
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes
• Good to know cloud technologies like AWS Google Cloud Azure, etc

• Expertise with NodeJS (extensively using ExpressJS), AngularJS and MySQL
• Rich user interface development experience with HTML5, JQuery, w3css/bootstrap etc and JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS and Angular 
• Expertise in building real-time web applications using MQTT, Websocket, Socket.IO, and EventSource frameworks
• Comfortable with developing MVC architecture-based code
• Comfortable in using at least one of the Graph/Chart libraries
• Ability with report generation from HTML contents
• Skilled in implementing security features across the applications and components
• Experience with tools usage - Code quality, Memory/CPU profiling tools
• Skilled with code optimization techniques
• Experience with docker container usage
• Experience with LDAP is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting techniques
• The strong defect resolution process for minimized latency
• Familiarity with confluence management (JIRA)
• Good to have a basic understanding of PHP frameworks like Yii, Codeigniter and databases like  MongoDB
• Good to have strong networking fundamentals, prior working experience in network technologies and protocols
• Ability to build supportability features to reduce the defects in software components
• Knowledge of GNU tools, revision control software (SVN, Git, etc.) and development lifecycle is a plus
