Job Brief:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Requirements

• Strong testing experience any of the Layer-3 Unicast routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), MPLS signaling protocols (e.g. RSVP, LDP), Layer-3 VPNS, Layer2-VPNs, VPLS, Multicast VPN, EVPN,
• Experience in Access protocols such as PPPoE, L2TP, DHCP, etc.
• Knowledge of data path testing for speeds and feeds.Features like Quality of Service, Multicast and Routing infrastructure is a plus
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages or python programming to test system/application software (SWIG)
• Ability to scope and develop test cases for a given requirement including Scale/Performance testing in a distributed asynchronous environment
• Experience with "Robot Framework" for automation, RESTful API is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to plan and execute tasks with minimal supervision
• Team-player, can-do attitude, will work well in a group environment while being able to contribute well on an individual basis

Responsibilities

Participate and work closely with developers at various stages fspec, design reviews to develop test-plans, tools, utilities.Drive authoring of detail feature test-plans, Design Test bed design, test topologies. Set up complex test beds based on Project requirements. Develop python scripts and robot scripts for automated testing. Assist development engineers in product defect diagnosis. Participate in customer calls and assist in troubleshooting, data gathering and communicating resolution/fixes.

-7+ years of experience in API automation and UI automation
-Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for automation and testing

-Must be able to demonstrate expertise with functional automated testing platforms

-Good understanding of OOD and SOLID design principles

-Understanding of basic architecture principles and architecture design and how it affects testing

- Strong knowledge and practical experience of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and practices

-Experience with managing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools used across teams

Position description:

• Perform API Testing using frameworks like Rest Assured
• Gather Functional & Automation Testing Requirements.
• Design and implement Functional Test Automation Architecture/Framework
• Conduct functional automation testing to ensure system reliability, reusability and quality.
• Work with testing team to develop functional automation test plans and cases.
• Develop automated scripts in Selenium for the initiatives using Test NG, Maven etc… such as Web (HTTP(s)/HTML); Web Sockets and on applications based on Java technologies & Other Trending Technologies.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
• Develop automated test scenarios and environments for automation testing.
• Generate test summary reports for management review.
• Analyze root causes of automation issues and provide corrective actions.
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and tracking activities.
• Provide support in project design, development and deployment activities.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures
• Develop automated test scenarios and environments for automation testing.

Educational qualifications preferred Degree:

Required Skills:

• Extensive knowledge and experience of Automation testing and monitoring tools (at least one each) – Expiry Test, SeeTest Automation, Jenkins, Test NG, Maven, Test Complete, and any other Test Automation Tools
• Testing Coordination experience – Full understand of End to End Automation test process and experience on how and when to engage different teams such as DBA, Dev or System admins.
• Good programming experience with Advanced Core JAVA along with OOPs Concept for at least 1 year.
• Experience with Agile/ Waterfall development methodologies MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, & Word)
• Experience with Continuous integration with Cloud Testing Tools, DB, Office, Studio & Simulators etc.
• Good understanding of JAVA, Test NG, Maven, SDK & Simulators
• Competent Java coding skills Advance Java with OOPs
• Strong experience in authoring, building and adopting large scale Automation Testing Solutions
