Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and at least one modern PHP framework. 
• Solid experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js (Hooks, Context API, Redux, etc.).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket.

As a Technical Lead (Backend), you will ship software that matters. You will innovate on architecture, write impactful software and generally contribute to enhance output across the Technology team.

• Develop and maintain scalable payment systems: Design, manage, and sustain cross-regional B2B payment transaction systems, ensuring robust, automated, and self-healing infrastructure that meets localization and regulatory requirements.

• Lead Architecture and technology decisions: Own, scrutinize, and defend key technology and architectural decisions to drive the success of large, complex projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in OOP, with hands-on experience in Golang, and solid understanding of SDLC practices such as code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration.
• Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI tools as part of day-to-day development activities to accelerate delivery timelines, boost productivity, and foster innovation.
• Strong knowledge of transactional RDBMS like MySQL and Postgres, with experience in schema design, debugging, and problem-solving across the tech stack (language, databases, web servers, system environments).
• Solid understanding of cloud-based deployments, scaling code in production, debugging for performance bottlenecks, and best practices for securing code.
• Team-oriented approach, effective cross-functional collaboration, and providing technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Act as a champion for clean, scalable, and high-performance code while advocating for technical standards and quality.
• Experience in Git-based code management, active participation in code reviews, and ensuring adherence to non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability) across projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Build, test and set up cutting-edge website applications in an efficient matter; work with other developers to fill data acquisition requirements
• Identify and fix CSS, HTML and scripting compatibility issues between a variety of platforms and browsers; test websites on different browsers and mobile device browsers; correct problems identified by customer feedback
• Investigate and discover architectural considerations, such as web usability, site performance and database design, as part of the system design process; research and assess implementation alternatives for new application features
• Collaborate and communicate with development teams and management to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, choose solutions or develop content criteria
• Develop procedures for ongoing website revision; recommend performance improvements; create and refine style guidelines for website content; select design tools, programming languages or applications
• Provide detailed explanations of website specifications, such as activities, software, product features, programming languages, communication protocols and operating systems hardware and software
• Remain up to date about current programming practices and web technologies through reading, continuing education opportunities or participation in professional workshops, groups or conferences

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in PHP, Javascript, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery, CSS and HTML
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

You must have:

• Experience in the design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise applications with multiple tiers
• Exposure on agile test-driven development for robustness, usability, reliability, security and performance.
• Strong technical aptitude for any programming language, preferred, Core JAVA and Spring Boot and other Spring libraries, Eureka, Hystrix etc.
• Experience of creating architecture or developing web services using Open source technologies and to integrate applications with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Solid understanding of OOPS, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience on Kafka / Scala / Storm / Elastic Search and Web Services like RESTful.
• Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
• Extensive experience with version control systems (Git is preferred) and issue tracking systems (JIRA is preferred)
