Python Developer

We are seeking a experienced Software Architect to design and oversee the development of a web-based application leveraging cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will define the technical vision, ensure architectural alignment with business goals, and lead the engineering team in implementing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Architectural Design:Define the architecture of the application, front-end, back-end, DB and cloud ensuring scalability, performance.

Establish standards for technology stack, frameworks, and tools.

Cloud Infrastructure Management:Design cloud-based architecture on platforms such as AWS, Azure.

And configure cloud services for hosting, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Leadership:Guide development teams in implementing architectural principles and best practices.

Code and Quality Standards:Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and documentation guidelines.

Risk Management:Evaluate and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Technology Roadmap:Plan for future scalability and maintenance in line with business growth.

Educational Background: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in CS, IT, Mech, Civil or a related field.

PMP,/PRINCE2, or equivalent Certification

Experience:7+ Years Total Exp, 4+ years of Software Architect experience.

Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and serverless computing.

Hands-on experience with front-end (React) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python) technologies.

Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Expert in database design (SQL and NoSQL).

Skills:Excellent analytical, problem-solving and Strong communication skills

Proficiency with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.AWS/Azure Certified Solutions ArchitectEducational Background: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in CS, IT, Mech, Civil or a related field.

Experience: 4+ years of Software Architect experience, Cloud

• Our stack is based on Django, Python3 Celery, Angular and Postgres.

• We expect you to have a good understanding of Python. It's even better if you are familiar with some of Git. Django, Celery, Redis and Unix Shell.

What will I be doing? 👩‍💻👨‍💻

Leading parts of the product from inception to launch, and own large parts of the product’s execution.
Working with our Sales and frontend team to build products with the goal of delighting and increasing the success of our users.
Architecting, building, testing, and releasing product-facing features.
Contributing to our side projects and free tools for the education industry.

What do I need? 🤓

1-2 years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product. You can demonstrate significant impact that your work has had on the product and/or the team.
Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (for example, PHP, Python, etc.) but it doesn’t need to be a language that we use here! Great people are effective and learn what we use quickly (or introduce us to better ways of working)
Deep knowledge of SQL Databases
Experience with scalable distributed systems, both built from scratch as well as on AWS primitives
Willingness to learn and use new technologies
Extremely data-driven
Ability to debug complex systems

Brownie points 🍰

Using a framework (for example, Laravel, Code Igniter, Django)
Understanding of containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) along with ability to deploy to AWS ECS (or similar tools)

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include understanding the needs, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and working with our software development teams to design, develop and deliver new features.

• 3-5 years of experience in building web applications and product development using Python
  ● Experience in Python Backend development, microservice API development using Flask and/or Django
  ● Experience in SQL and No SQL databases
  ● Experience in AWS cloud services
  ● Working knowledge in Unit testing with pytest, Git (versioning, branching, etc..), CI-CD
