Roles & Responsibilities

Writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.

Ultimately, you'll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs. Write effective, scalable code Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance Integrate user-facing elements into applications.

Test and debug programs

Improve functionality of existing systems Implement security and data protection solutions Assess and prioritize feature requests

Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, etc)

Requirements

1 to 5 years of experience as a Python Developer

Hands on experience of Flask, Django or Gin or Revel or Sanic

Knowledge of design/architectural patterns will be considered as a plus

Experience working in an agile development environment with a strong focus on rapid software development

Experience in AWS or similar cloud technologies

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills

Proven ability to complete assigned task according to the outlined scope and timeline

Experience with messaging frameworks such as SQS/Kafka/RabbitMq

Experience with Elastic Search

Willingness to learn new and different technologies

Skills:

• Proficient in Go programming language with experience in building high-performance, scalable applications
• Experience with Java development a plus
• Familiarity with Git version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN)
• Solid understanding of RESTful web services APIs
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Go code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy new features
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical problems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Go and related technologies

• 3-8+ years of experience programming in a backend language (Java / Python), with a good understanding of troubleshooting errors. 
• 5+ years of experience in Confluent Kafka / 3+ years of experience in Confluent Kafka 

• Cloud Kafka, Control Central, Rest Proxy, HA Proxy, Confluent Kafka Connect, Confluent Kafka Security features

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience building successful production software systems
• A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS or related field)
• The ability to take convert raw requirements into good design while exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs
• Expertise in System design (design patterns, LLD, HLD, Solid principle, OOAD, Distributed systems etc..), Architecture (MVC/Micro services).
• Good understanding of at least some of the modern programming languages (Java) and open-source technologies (C++, Python, Scala, C#, PHP, Ruby etc..)
• Excellence in technical communication
• Has experience in mentoring other software developers
