You will be working on complex data migrations, modernizing legacy applications and building new applications on the cloud for large enterprise and/or growth stage startups. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly into mission critical projects directly interacting with business stakeholders, customer’s technical teams and MongoDB solutions Architects.

Basic qualifications:

• Relevant experience of 4+ years building high-performance backend applications with, at least 2 or more projects implemented using the required technologies

Required Technical Skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience building high-performance web back-ends using Node.Js. Having 3+ hands-on experience in Node.JS and Javascript/Typescript and minimum
• Hands-on project experience with Nest.Js
• Strong experience with Express.Js framework
• Hands-on experience in data modeling and schema design in MongoDB 
• Experience integrating with any 3rd party services such as cloud SDKs, payments, push notifications, authentication etc…
• Exposure into unit testing with frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jest or others
• Strong experience writing and maintaining clear documentation

Good to have skills:

• Experience working with common services in any of the major cloud providers - AWS or GCP or Azure
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience working with other Relational and NoSQL Databases
• Experience with technologies such as Kafka and Redis
• Technical certifications in AWS / Azure / GCP / MongoDB or other relevant technologies

Your Impact:

•                 Implements Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud) to meet expected quality standards

•                 Ensures functional requirements and high-level solution designs are understood and are translated into detailed technical design

•                 Implement proofs of concept to prove any new technologies, application flows or integration scenarios and identify customizations needed to SFCC platform for meeting client requirements

•                 Guides the performance tuning and scalability of the ecommerce solution

•                 Diagnose and solve technical problems during implementation and support phases

Your Skills & Experience:

•                 4-8 Years with 2+ years of implementing commerce application on any eCommerce platform in last 3 years

•                 If you have not worked in eCommerce platform, we can still discuss with you if you are expert in Java/.Net and understand REST/SOAP webservices.

•                 Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality

•                 Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications

•                 Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps

•                 Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards

•                 Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them

•                 Guides the development of reference and resource materials

•                 Mentors developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills

•                 Communicate technical design to the developers and help/guide them in the implementation

JD:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of software modules owned by a team. You will guide and mentor junior team members by reviewing their code and designs to ensure that they are writing well designed and high quality code. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will need to collaborate across teams. 

Key Skills:

• 3 to 6 years of experience

Responsibilities Include

You will break down business opportunities and problems into software solutions. You will work closely with the CTO to help product and marketing stakeholders distill the product vision and roadmap, into a technology vision. You will be responsible for the evolution of an already bleeding-edge highly distributed systems at the back-end, and would need to work with front-end architects to come up with the best user experience for the gaming platform. You will be required to make decisions quickly, and work under strict timelines. You would lead technology strategy through analysis of market trends and product requirements. You would help set coding guidelines and help bring the most modern tools to keep engineering processes most efficient.

Requirements

• B.E/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years or more of progressive software technology experience with at least 3 years in an architectural role.
• Completely hands on with technology and architecture. Start-up experience is a huge plus.
• Ability to quickly prototype and demonstrate technology value adds and educate + drive adoption within the extended technology team
• Excellent and robust understanding of scalable product system architecture(s), platforms and core technologies
• Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills to pursue correct engineering process in adverse conditions. Ability to embrace and demonstrate leadership beyond ownership
• Work with engineering leadership to setup and manage processes.
• Track record of thought leadership and out of the box thinking in the technology arena.
• Ability to work efficiently in an entrepreneurial and in a start-up environment
• A Java/Spring/Akka, Javascript or Golang rockstar.
• Deep and hands on knowledge of some of these technologies - MySQL, NodeJS, message brokers such as Kafka/RabbitMQ, NoSQL datastore such as Mongo, Cassandra, Arango, distributed caches such as Redis/memcached, container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes etc.
• Great proficiency in distributed systems design, with an ability to make the right trade-offs for creating future-proof solutions.
• Building quick PoCs and full-fledged solutions with various AWS managed services would be a big plus.
