As a Principal Software Engineer you will:
- Design, implement and enhance new components of the Livspace design platform and supply chain platform.
- Design new features for the e-commerce properties and front-end products and mobile apps
- Maintain engineering infrastructure
- Have significant impact on current and future technology roadmap
- Complete ownership of Service/Services that your team is responsible for
- Lead by example, mentor and guide team members on everything from structured problem solving to development of best practices
- Own large technical deliverables and execute in an exemplary way
- Be able to conceptualize and develop prototype quickly
- Contribute creatively in strategic products that will reach large audience
- Build a web product that users love.
Who you are :
- Deep expertise with any or combination programming languages: Java, Python NodeJS any Object oriented high level proprietary or open source language with strong programming constructs ( Java Preferred ).
- Substantial experience in building complex and scalable solutions.
- Strong object oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces
- The ability to do deep problem solving and build elegant, maintainable solutions to complex problems.
- Experience leading multi-engineer projects and mentoring junior engineers
- You earned B.Tech or equivalent degree in computer science or related engineering field
- You have at least 6+ years of experience working with large scale web products

- Good sense of system characterization and identification of technical requirements
- Good learnability and adopt technologies that help build large scale, performant, reliable and sustainable systems.
- Architectural & Design Choices, Deep knowledge on one or more tech stacks, identify alternative tech choices and trade-offs

- Ability to work in fuzzy environments and complex environments

Sizzle is an exciting new startup that’s changing the world of gaming. At Sizzle, we’re building AI to automate gaming highlights, directly from Twitch and YouTube streams. We’re looking for a superstar Python expert to help develop and deploy our AI pipeline. The main task will be deploying models and algorithms developed by our AI team, and keeping the daily production pipeline running. Our pipeline is centered around several microservices, all written in Python, that coordinate their actions through a database. We’re looking for developers with deep experience in Python including profiling and improving the performance of production code, multiprocessing / multithreading, and managing a pipeline that is constantly running. AI/ML experience is a plus, but not necessary. AWS / docker / CI/CD practices are also a plus. If you are a gamer or streamer, or enjoy watching video games and streams, that is also definitely a plus :-)
You will be responsible for:
- Building Python scripts to deploy our AI components into pipeline and production
- Developing logic to ensure multiple different AI components work together seamlessly through a microservices architecture
- Managing our daily pipeline on both on-premise servers and AWS
- Working closely with the AI engineering, backend and frontend teams
You should have the following qualities:
- Deep expertise in Python including:
- Multiprocessing / multithreaded applications
- Class-based inheritance and modules
- DB integration including pymongo and sqlalchemy (we have MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases on our backend)
- Understanding Python performance bottlenecks, and how to profile and improve the performance of production code including:
- Optimal multithreading / multiprocessing strategies
- Memory bottlenecks and other bottlenecks encountered with large datasets and use of numpy / opencv / image processing
- Experience in creating soft real-time processing tasks is a plus
- Expertise in Docker-based virtualization including:
- Creating & maintaining custom Docker images
- Deployment of Docker images on cloud and on-premise services
- Experience with maintaining cloud applications in AWS environments
- Experience in deploying machine learning algorithms into production (e.g. PyTorch, tensorflow, opencv, etc) is a plus
- Experience with image processing in python is a plus (e.g. openCV, Pillow, etc)
- Experience with running Nvidia GPU / CUDA-based tasks is a plus (Nvidia Triton, MLFlow)
- Knowledge of video file formats (mp4, mov, avi, etc.), encoding, compression, and using ffmpeg to perform common video processing tasks is a plus.

Training
After a rigorous training program of up to one month, you'll immediately get to work on one of our projects. We're working on mission-critical government systems or commercial products that are levelling up the way the world does business.
Your Responsibilities would be to:
- Architect new and optimize existing software codebases and systems used to crawl, launch, run, and monitor the Anakin family of app crawlers
- Deeply own the lifecycle of software, including rolling out to operations, managing configurations, maintaining and upgrading, and supporting end-users
- Configure and optimize the automated testing and deployment systems used to maintain over 1000+ crawlers across the company
- Analyze data and bugs that require in-depth investigations
- Interface directly with external customers including managing relationships and steering requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Extremely effective, self-driven builder
- 2+ years of experience as a backend software engineer
- 2+ years of experience with Python
- 2+ years of experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
- Should have managed a team of software engineers
- Deep experience with network debugging across all OSI layers (Wireshark)
- Knowledge of networks or/and cybersecurity
Preferred Skills and Experience

As a Software Engineer at Quince, you'll be responsible for designing and building scalable infrastructure and build applications to solve some very interesting problems in the logistics and finance tech space.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect solutions on the cloud for various business problems with workflow efficiency and scale in mind.
- Be on the forefront with the business team to learn, understand, identify and translate function requirements into technical opportunities.
- End-to-end ownership - from scoping the requirements to the final delivery of the solution with keen eye to details and quality.
- Build and improve logistics components for this innovative M2C supply-chain model.
- Build and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Computer Science or closely related subject.
- 1-5 years of experience in building software solutions.
- Good at data structures and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Python.
- Experience in deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms (Ex: AWS, Google cloud).
