Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team at our Jaipur office. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Kafka, along with exposure to cloud environments and container orchestration tools.

Mandatory Criteria

• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Must be based in Jaipur or open to relocating immediately
• Preference for immediate joiners

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of development tasks with minimal guidance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Review code, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to improving team efficiency and code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like frontend developers, QA, Product Managers, and third-party service providers to resolve dependencies and drive delivery.
• Ensure implementation of proper unit testing and maintain code coverage as per defined standards.
• Support and resolve production issues promptly to ensure high system availability.

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development using Java
• Expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Solid experience working with Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Netflix OSS or Spring Cloud
• Working knowledge of Kafka for messaging and event-driven architecture
• Proficient in writing JUnit test cases and achieving code coverage goals
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

• Degree in Computer Science (BS/MS), related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of industry experience in product development
• Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
• Must own a specific component of the product. Gathering requirements by working with product management. Working closely with development managers in defining external product interfaces
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must articulate various design approaches and design decisions clearly - within the team and across the teams.
• Must work with QA engineers to devise proper test constructs - unit testing and integration tests.

• Works towards developing Stable & Efficient Applications for
• Responsible for developing Applications which are Stable, Efficient and if required cross   
• Responsible to create Native Applications for Android to achieve best performance.
• Responsible for understanding best UI Practices
• Responsible for creating Application UI utilizing latest Google UI Guide lines.
• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.C.A. in Computer Sciences.
• Should have Experience of at least one production environment Application in Google Play Store. GIT, Agile Frameworks, Jenkins
• Must have Java, Android, C, and C++.

Must Have

• 1+ to 6 year’s development experience in Java/J2EE Development.
• 1+ years’ experience in Spring, Hibernate.
• 1+ years’ experience in developing REST API’s
• 1+ years’ experience in developing Spring boot applications.
• Hands-On experience in Unit testing.
• Hands On experience in MVC frameworks –AngularJS/Angular7/8
• Understanding of Micro services.
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies.
• Working experience with DB technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude for innovation, working independently and thinking ‘outside of the box’.

• The ideal candidate must have experience in enterprise application design, system performance and scalability
• 5+ year experience in web services, distributed systems, and highly available and scalable applications.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java
• Very good knowledge of Core Java and J2EE and should have worked on high availability, low latency platforms.
• Ability to question status quo and identify bad design/code patterns which can impact performance and maintainability of the code.
• Excellent understanding of system design and design patterns.
• Previous experience with the Agile methodology.
• Experience in developing robust RESTful services is desirable.
• Have very good communication skills
• Have strong experience in the Spring framework.
• Good experience in SQL/Oracle

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field with 3+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages:Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl;

OR 

• MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field 2+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl.

ALSO 

• Minimum 3 years of experience building applications using at least one of the following: web application technologies including: HTML, CSS, or Javascript; OR Databases, for example: Mysql, Mongo, ora similar program; OR a collection of systems connected and communicating via a network connection
• Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring more junior Engineers
• Significant experience with large scale, high-performance systems
