Role Purpose:

The Operations Excellence & Compliance will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving continuous improvement, establishing best-in-class operational processes, and ensuring comprehensive compliance across all data center operations. This role focuses on optimizing efficiency, enhancing reliability, and standardizing operational practices to achieve peak performance and meet stringent Customer quality standards. The incumbent will champion a culture of excellence, data-driven decision-making, and robust governance within the Operations department, reporting directly to the Director - Operations Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Process Design & Optimization:

• Lead the design, documentation, and continuous optimization of all critical operational processes across data center sites (e.g., MOPs, SOPs for maintenance, incident response, change management, capacity management).
• Implement and champion Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other continuous improvement frameworks to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and enhance operational workflows.
• Conduct regular process audits and performance reviews to ensure adherence to established procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive initiatives to standardize operational practices across multiple data center campuses, ensuring consistency and best practice adoption.

Performance Monitoring & Analytics:

We are Looking For:

As a Full Stack Developer, you are constantly leveraging your technical skills and creativity. You have mastered front-end and back-end development, creating reliable, lightweight, malleable, and high-performing web & enterprise applications. You are fluent in core PHP and at least 1 MVC framework from Laravel and Codeignitor, comfortable using CLI in Unix/ Linux server environments. You are technologically agnostic, genuinely enjoy experimenting with new frameworks, and closely follow changes across the tech landscape.

This role is perfectly suited for people that love to learn because it requires you to continuously update your skillset and technical abilities. Staying up to date on new development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends is also part of the job. If you’re someone who loves logic and problem solving, then We are looking for You.

What You Will Do

• No day is the same - you will create technical designs that support varying client requirements.
• You will design and develop full-stack web applications using the latest web technologies, primarily Angular js and React js, Express js
• Write code that passes unit tests and withstands an agile and test-driven development environment.
• Leverage your skills in industry standard tools to deliver weekly code releases.
• You’ll work in a ‘no silos’ environment, frequently collaborating with global teams and roles across the organization.

Who You Are

Requirements

• You can build products from scratch.
• You have expertise in any one of the back-end frameworks (PHP 5.x/7.x with XAMP/LAMP Environment, Laravel, Codeigniter PHP web framework, Node js, Express js, etc.)
• You are fluent in these languages - PHP, Javascript, NodeJS
• You have Strong knowledge of Ui and UX

• You have dabbled in these front-end tools - HTML 5, Bootstrap 3.0/4.0, CSS 3.0, React js,Node.js Angular JS, JQuery
• You understand when to use NoSQL ( Mongo DB) vs. relational database (MySQL)
• You are comfortable to use any of the web services (REST/ SOAP/ XML)
• You are comfortable to use ecommerce tool like magento 1 and 2, Woocommerce,prestashop and other CMS tool like wordpress (plugin building),drupal  and Joomla
• You preferably have experience in working with GIT, SVN or similar SCM tools
• You must have done one of this payment gateway integration - Paypal/ Stripe/ Razor pay
• You are comfortable working up and down the stack.
• You can convert ideas into designs and build them out

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply your knowledge of ML and statistics to conceptualise, experiment, develop & deploy machine learning & deep learning systems.
• Understanding the business objectives & defining the right target metrics to track performance & progress.
• Defining & building datasets with the appropriate representation techniques for learning.
• Training & tuning models. Running evaluation & test experiments on the models.
• Build ML pipelines end to end. (Everything MLOps.)
• Building pipelines for the various stages.
• Deploying models.
• Troubleshooting issues with models in production.
• Reporting results of model performance in production.
• Retraining, performance logging & maintenance.
• Help the business with insights for better decision-making. You will build many predictive models for internal business operations
  you will derive insights from the trained models & data to help the product & business teams make better decisions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of work experience as an ML engineer or Data Scientist with a Bachelors Degree in Computer science or related field
• Theoretical & practical knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Statistical methods. (NLP Tasks, Recommender Systems, Predictive Modelling etc)
• Since Pepper is a content company, you will work on many interesting text based problems. Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing techniques with Deep Learning is a must for this role.
• Familiarity with the popular NLP applications and text representation architectures & techniques: text classification, machine translation, named entity recognition, summarisation, question answering, zero-shot learning etc.  Bag of Words, TF-IDF, Word2vec, GloVe, BERT, ELMo, GPT etc.
• Experience with ML frameworks (like Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch) & libraries like Sklearn.
• Experience with ML infrastructure & shipping models.
• Excellent programming & algorithmic skills. Good understanding of Data Structures and algorithms (fluent in at least one object oriented programming language). Proficiency in Python is a must.
• Strong understanding of database systems & schema design. Proficient in SQL
