Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Kofax Developer with hands-on expertise in Kofax Total Agility (KTA). The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with both Transformation Designer and Total Agility Designer modules, and will contribute to developing, configuring, and supporting intelligent automation workflows that enhance document capture, classification, and data extraction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain workflows using Kofax Total Agility (KTA).
• Configure and implement solutions using Transformation Designer for intelligent document processing (IDP).
• Develop forms, business rules, and integrations using Total Agility Designer.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.
• Conduct testing and debugging of Kofax processes and workflows.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in production environments.
• Maintain documentation and follow standard development lifecycle processes (SDLC/Agile).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Kofax Total Agility development.
• Proficiency with both Kofax Transformation Designer and Total Agility Designer.
• Strong understanding of document capture, classification, and data extraction processes.
• Experience integrating Kofax solutions with third-party systems via APIs or connectors.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• As a senior backend engineer, you will be expected to execute and deliver large and complex projects end-to-end, with or without the involvement of other team members
• Ensuring timely delivery of all product deliverables
• Play a key role in technical discussions within the team and be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting
• Understand key Business and Engineering metrics around performance, quality, and availability and work regularly with the team to push the boundaries and improve them periodically
• Proactively participate in code reviews and architecture and design discussions
• Mentoring junior engineers and setting best practices for coding, code reviews, etc.
• Help the organization in building a top-quality team by participating in hiring initiatives and evangelizing about contributions, accomplishments, and victories

• Strong and self-motivated individuals, should be able to independently drive decisions
• Solid experience in building web-based products
• Overall of 4+ years of expertise in at least one dynamic programming language and one MVC web framework, preferably Ruby on Rails
• Expertise in Database modeling, preferably relational DB, spotting DB bottlenecks, and writing optimized DB queries
• Expertise in all common Cloud technologies, preferably AWS. Knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows
• Proven track record in building highly-available and scalable distributed systems
• Willingness to play and explore with new technologies and be a Subject Matter Expert and support them
• Someone who believes in small incremental improvements and is passionate about refactoring
• A keen eye for quality with regards to following and establishing good coding practices, improving code coverage
• Good stakeholder management, ability to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders

Work Experience & Skills:

• B.E/B.Tech or any relevant Masters degree from reputed college.
• Strong 5+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring IOC, Spring Annotations, Spring JDBC, Jquery, Java script, HTML 5 and CSS
• Strong experience in Postgres or any SQL technology
• Experience with working on Tomcat, Apache, JBoss or any similar application server
• Should have 3+ years of experience in leading team.
• Good experience in JSON / RESTful API / Web Services.
• Experience in working on Agile methodology using Scrum and sprints
• Experience in using build tools, Maven, GIT, Bugzilla or similar tools.
• Experience in cloud technologies, Microservices and frameworks such as AWS or GPC, container technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to new development environments, changing business requirements and learning new systems highly desired
• Experience in Microservices, SpringBoot and Angular is a plus.
• Experience with tuning deployed applications for scalability and performance.
