Responsibilities:
- Reviewing (if already developed) current system workflow and database design.
- Analyzing the needs of system and producing detailed specification document
- Create a step by step flow chart or psudocode for computing systems that shows how program code must be written in order to work properly.
- Develop a functional modules according as required under deadline.
- Integrating 3rd party tools wherever required.
- Perform and document unit testing for developed functions.
- System maintenance by monitoring and correcting software defects.
- Continuously updating technical knowledge and skills as per industry standards.
- Contribute to technical writers to create users documents.
- All tasks must be carried out at the highest standards.
Function/ Skills
- Strong experience on any of the modern PHP based frameworks like Laravel, Cake PHP, Symphony, etc.
- Ability to create Data Structures and Algorithms.
Experience of developing highly scalable web services and APIs using PHP.
- Development skills of Database design and information schema using NoSQL/SQL.
- Source control management (e.g. Git, SVN, Mercurial) to enable teams to work together to manage source code.
- Working over cloud computing platform like Amazon Web Service (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure
- Strong designing / problem solving skills.
Basic Requirements:
- Education: BCA, MCA, Msc IT, Bsc IT or any equivalent qualification
- Work Experience: 2-6 year of experience in same field
- Good Communication skill (Preferred)
- Can work under pressure
- Meet deadlines

Leading parts of the product from inception to launch, and own large parts of the product’s execution.

What do I need? 🤓
1-2 years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product. You can demonstrate significant impact that your work has had on the product and/or the team.
Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (for example, PHP, Python, etc.) but it doesn’t need to be a language that we use here! Great people are effective and learn what we use quickly (or introduce us to better ways of working)
Deep knowledge of SQL Databases
Experience with scalable distributed systems, both built from scratch as well as on AWS primitives
Willingness to learn and use new technologies

Roles and Responsibilities:
● Build a low latency serving layer that powers DataWeave's Dashboards, Reports, and Analytics
functionality
● Build robust RESTful APIs that serve data and insights to DataWeave and other products
● Design user interaction workflows on our products and integrating them with data APIs
● Help stabilize and scale our existing systems. Help design the next generation systems.
● Scale our back end data and analytics pipeline to handle increasingly large amounts of data.
● Work closely with the Head of Products and UX designers to understand the product vision and design

Skills and Requirements:
● 5-7 years of experience building and scaling APIs and web applications.

● Be passionate about writing code and have experience coding in multiple languages, including at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
● Be able to argue convincingly why feature X of language Y rocks/sucks, or why a certain design decision is right/wrong, and so on.
● Be a self-starter—someone who thrives in fast paced environments with minimal ‘management’.
● Have experience working with multiple storage and indexing technologies such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elastic.
● Good knowledge (including internals) of messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
● Use the command line like a pro. Be proficient in Git and other essential software development tools.
● Working knowledge of large-scale computational models such as MapReduce and Spark is a bonus.
