🔧 Core Responsibilities :

• Lead architecture design and development for scalable enterprise-level applications.
• Own and manage all aspects of technical development and delivery.
• Define and enforce best coding practices, architectural guidelines, and development standards.
• Plan and estimate the end-to-end technical scope of projects.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure CI/CD, and implement TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Mentor and lead individual contributors and small development teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Product, and QA.
• Engage in high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD), solutioning, and cloud-native transformations.

🛠️ Required Technical Skills :

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event streaming platforms
• Proficiency in cloud platforms – AWS and Azure (must-have)
• Exposure to frontend technologies (nice-to-have)
• Solid understanding of HLD, system architecture, and design patterns
• Good grasp of DevOps concepts, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Agile/Lean development, Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration practices
• Polyglot mindset is a plus (Scala, Golang, Python, etc.)

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement robust and efficient backend services using microservices architecture principles.

-  Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using C# and the .NET framework.

-  Develop and implement data access layers using Entity Framework.

-  Utilize Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

-  Design and manage databases on Azure SQL.

-  Perform code reviews and participate in pair programming to ensure code quality.

-  Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.

-  Optimize backend performance and scalability to ensure a smooth user experience.

-  Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in backend technologies and cloud platforms.

-  Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

-  Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

-  Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles and best practices.

-  In-depth knowledge of C# programming language and the .NET framework (ASP.NET MVC/Core, Web API).

-  Experience working with Entity Framework for data access.

-  Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

-  Experience with Azure SQL for database design and management.

-  Experience with unit testing and integration testing methodologies.

• Technical Guidance: You will provide technical leadership to a team of excellent software engineers; this requires that you have the technical depth to make complex design decisions and the hands-on ability to lead by example.
• Execution and Delivery: You will be expected to instill and follow good software development practices and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. You should be familiar with agile practices as well as be able to adapt these to the needs of the business, with a constant focus on product quality.
• Team management : You will be responsible for hiring and mentoring your team; helping individuals grow in their careers, having constant dialogue about their aspirations and sharing prompt, clear and actionable feedback about performance.

• Technical depth: You have the strong technical competence required to gain credibility. Ability to architect, design and code yourself. Technical experience in building and operating web-based applications. Deep understanding of all layers of the web-stack work (from the client interface to the database.) Knowledge of multiple technology stacks/languages/tools and their pros/cons.
• Execution ability: Focus on delivering products in a timely manner with high quality. Familiarity with multiple software development practices and tools, and the proven ability to adapt, champion and institute good practices and tools.
• You must have a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong understanding of object- oriented programming, concurrency and fundamentals of computer-science.
• Total of 9+ years’ experience building cutting edge products. Deep experience in building very large scale applications and 2 + years’ experience in team management.
• Strong problem solving skills, data structures and algorithms.

•  5-10 years of experience in building API services using NodeJS Express and related frameworks
• Expert level understanding of NodeJS asynchronous runtime
• Expert level understanding of Javascript concepts on callbacks and closures
• Experience with Postgres, NoSQL, Redis, and Firebase real-time database
• Experience with AWS services like Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudfront, S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, etc
• Understanding of patterns and techniques for building scalable back-end infrastructure including caching, rate limiting, authentication, and authorization schemes.
• Experience in building highly scalable and high throughput services with millisecond response times
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and pick up new technology along with patience to mentor
