Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer (SDE 2) professional with strong expertise in building scalable backend applications, microservices, and distributed systems in Agile environments.

Mandatory Keywords :

Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Microservices, Cloud, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, System Design.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using Node.js & TypeScript.

• Build REST APIs and GraphQL services.

• Develop secure, reusable, and high-performance applications.

• Work on microservices, cloud platforms, and production support.

• Follow best practices including TDD, testing, and DevOps processes.

• Mentor team members and contribute to technical excellence.

Mandatory Skills :

• 5+ years of software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript.

• Experience with Express.js/Koa/Sails.js.

• GraphQL, REST APIs, Microservices

• AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud

• Docker, Kubernetes, Redis

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, Git, and DevOps.

Good to Have :

Kafka, RabbitMQ, Apollo Federation, New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, React.js/Next.js, Jest/Mocha/Cucumber

Must know MySQL & PostgreSQL

- Good Knowledge of HTML, PHP Frameworks (like CI, Laravel, YII), Core PHP, JavaScript and CSS coding.

- Knowledge of Bitbucket/GitHub.

- Strong hands-on Bootstrap.

- Knowledge of databases and database concepts.

- Strong knowledge of Laravel/ CodeIgniter and its extensive feature set.

- Working Knowledge of e-commerce frameworks like OpenCart, WordPress, cs-cart, and Magento.

- Working knowledge of API for Mobile Applications

- Experience in Cache, and search plugins in terms of optimization

PHP Developer Requirements:

1. Candidate should have experience on Core PHP, Web services,Yii Framework, Web servers, Linux working environment & MVC.

2. Excellent skills in MySQL, Optimization techniques, schema design, Stored procedures, Triggers

3. Good command over design patterns.

4. Good command over OOPS

5. Strong debugging & troubleshooting skills

6. Writing algorithms on application security.

7. Writing shell scripts & integration of third party web services

8. Knowledge on any one of server monitoring tools much appreciated.

9. Should have any one version control (git is more advantage)

10. Should be proactive.

Responsibilities:

1. Writing PHP & shell script code.

2. Analyzing requirements, maintain design patterns & making deployments on time. 3. Understanding the client requirements and implement the tasks in time.

4. Writing Stored procedures, functions and Views in Sqlserver.

Must Have:

1. Solid programming & logical skills.

2. Candidate must have experience on MySQL, Yii framework, MySQL database.

3. Hard working, positive attitude and ability to deliver under time and resource constraints.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

Additional Job requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Math or equivalent
• BS in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional software development experience: designing, developing, and delivering software written in Java, C#, or C++, web development.
• Knowledgeable in object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience building highly scalable and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service-oriented architecture and application/services development
• Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking

Work Location : Chennai
