Requirements and skills:

• Hands-on Software Development experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.

Role: Senior Software Engineer – Backend                                            Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon / Pune

About the Role

The successful backend engineer will work closely and collaboratively with cross functional teams during all phases of the software development lifecycle.

The incumbent should be competent to provide quick solutions to problems and taking a product or a product’s component through the entire life cycle, optimize the space / time complexity and improve on usability and reliability.

What you’ll be doing:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from top notch colleges 
• 4 + years of software development engineering.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles (including MVC).
• Good hands on in AWS scalable environment.
• Experience with different RDBMS and No SQL databases like MySQL, mongo, etc.
• Experience in designing scalable micro-services required.
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysis.
• Proficiency in one language that emphasizes class abstractions (for e.g. Java) and have coded in it for at least 4 years.

What are we looking for?

Requirement-

- Min 2.5 Years development experience on the SugarCRM / SuiteCRM platform

- Design, implement, test and maintain our CRM built on SuiteCRM

- Setup integrations to various systems

- Create and maintain software documentation

- Implement Proof of Concepts for testing business ideas

- Recommend ways to improve reliability, maintenance, efficiency, and quality

- Follow SCRUM Agile Development methodology

- Experience on large scale projects

- Expertise in security framework

- Develop new modules, components and improve functionality in existing modules

- Experience with composer and upgrade safe modules

- Experience in SuiteCRM upgrade and code optimization

Roles and Responsibilities

• PHP and WordPress development, WordPress CMS Installation, theme customizations.
• Handle Team of developers
• Responsible for plugin development, theme integration.
• Responsible for handling a project independently.
• Developing requirements & planning documentation considering the WordPress framework.
• Customizing and publishing content using existing WordPress themes.
• Collaborate with the designing and programming team.
• Communicating with and managing multiple clients.
• Proactively review WordPress components, widgets, and plugins to keep all solutions at the cutting-edge and maintain security.
• Developing, maintaining and optimizing secure, reusable and scalable websites.
• Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development Team to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy of any progress or delays Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to the clients.

Ideal skills and experience required

• 3+ years experience in PHP and WordPress development, WordPress CMS Installation, theme customizations.
• Leadership quality to run the tech team on website on WordPress, UIs and technical efficiency towards improving and tracking the faults on daily basis and resolving abilities
• Projection towards campaigns from the technical (website) point of view
• Experience of at least 2 international projects.
• Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment.
• Should have problem-solving, prioritizing tasks, and multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge of consuming and creating Web Services is a plus.
