Job Responsibilities

• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security
• • Exposure working in microservices and containerization(Docker/Kubernetes)
• • Experience with Web Services (JSON, REST, JAX-RS, Spring based REST services)
• • Strong with Java and J2EE/Java EE (including servlets, JSP, JSF, JDBC)
• • Strong understanding of Java Multithreading
• • Experience working with DB like Mongo, Casandra etc.
• • Experience with at least one of the development tools like Git, Gradle, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins, Artifactory etc
• • Experience with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss etc
• • Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito
• • Experience with DevOps practices and CICD model of development
• • Good understanding of OOP, design patterns and industry best practices
• • Agile project experience along with working on Agile tools like JIRA
• • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Backend Architect:

Technology: node js, DynamoDB / Mongo DB

Roles:

• Design & implement Backend Services.
• Able to redesign the architecture.
• Designing & implementation of application in MVC & Microservice.
• 9+ years of experience developing service-based applications using Node.js.
• Expert-level skills in developing web applications using JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.
• Experience working on teams that practice BDD (Business Driven Development).
• Understanding of micro-service architecture and RESTful API integration patterns.
• Experience using Node.js for automation and leveraging NPM for package management
• Solid Object Oriented design experience, and creating and leveraging design patterns.

• Overall experience of 2-5 years in building backend services using languages like NodeJs, Java etc

Preferred Skills: 

We want to really emphasize Spring Boot (2+ years although 1+ if candidate particularly strong) Using Redis as a caching technology with Spring Boot would be a strong plus 

Using Redisson (a particular java client library that can be easily configured with Spring Boot) would be a strong plus 

Knowledge of event based messaging systems (Amazon SNS, Amazon MQ, or Kafka (in AWS) Data Cleaning tools and techniques in CSV and Excel 

Strong Knowledge of Spring Boot Dependency Injection and Configuration 

Experience with APIs for popular e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, Big Commerce, etc.) 

SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) Tools in the context of AWS. (Tools classified under DevOps) 

Experience with managing AWS EC2 VM instances and using AWS managed Services (like S3, MySQL, VPC/Networking, Lambda, etc) 

Performance Analysis Tools (Code Profiling) on Java VM and particularly Spring Boot 

Nice to Have: 

Experience with Cassandra or MongoDB with Spring Boot 

Horizontal Scaling with Spring Boot (considerations running multiple instances of Spring Boot instances) 

Experience with placing Spring Boot applications in Docker/Kubernetes container ecosystems (especially in AWS)
