Experience of atleast 9 + years in developing Java Solutions and Architecture

Mandatory Experience of working on AWS, Microservices architecture, Dockers, Kubernetes

Experience in creating architecture for Cloud Applications in AWS

Should have worked on large scale Saas application for atleast 3 years

Knowledge and experience in any of the following

Javascript, AngularJS, Python, Ruby, PHP

Driving DevOps best practices by using Docker, Kubernetes.

Role Responsibilities:

• Development and Maintenance of REST APIs: Lead the creation and management of our RESTful APIs, ensuring top-notch performance and alignment with evolving requirements.
• Proficiency in Coding: We're in search of expertise in Python or equivalent programming languages. Your coding skills will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality (efficient, reusable, testable, and scalable) solutions.
• Unit and Integration Testing: Apply your expertise to craft unit and integration tests, upholding code quality and reliability.
• Version Control Systems: Proficiency in Distributed Version Control Systems is vital for seamless collaboration during development.
• Elasticsearch Expertise: Having valuable experience with Elasticsearch is a plus, given its critical role in data retrieval and search functionalities.
• NOSQL Database Familiarity: Knowledge of NOSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB will be advantageous.
• Message Broker Knowledge: Understanding message brokers, especially RabbitMQ, is beneficial for effective communication within our systems.

• Architect new and optimize existing software codebases and systems used to crawl, launch, run, and monitor the Anakin family of app crawlers
• Deeply own the lifecycle of software, including rolling out to operations, managing configurations, maintaining and upgrading, and supporting end-users
• Configure and optimize the automated testing and deployment systems used to maintain over 1000+ crawlers across the company
• Analyze data and bugs that require in-depth investigations
• Interface directly with external customers including managing relationships and steering requirements

• Extremely effective, self-driven builder
• 2+ years of experience as a backend software engineer
• 2+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
• Should have managed a team of software engineers
• Deep experience with network debugging across all OSI layers (Wireshark)
• Knowledge of networks or/and cybersecurity

• Broad understanding of the landscape of software engineering design patterns and principles
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a highly stressful environment during removing bugs in run-time within minutes
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

• Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines

• 4+ years Rails experience in a production environment working complex Ruby on Rails applications and Ruby gems
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• Knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
• Knowledge on HTTP and RESTFUL API development experience
• Experience in Angular is a plus
• Proactiveness, good communication and fast learning.
