Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on building cloud-based, scalable applications in the mortgage finance domain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components for cloud-based web applications.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving microservices and distributed systems.
• Work extensively with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Implement scalable solutions using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS).
• Utilize both relational and NoSQL databases effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and maintainable code.
• Participate in agile development practices and deliver rapid iterations based on feedback.
• Take ownership of system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Core Requirements :

• 5+ Years of total experience in backend development.
• Minimum 3 Years of experience in building scalable microservices or delivering large-scale products.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and REST APIs.
• Solid experience with RDBMS, SQL, and data modeling.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and availability.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Development experience in Python and/or Java is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with frontend frameworks like React.js or AngularJS.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior PHP Developer with 8+ years of overall experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be a senior full-stack developer with 8+ years of PHP experience, strong skills in JavaScript, design patterns, AWS, and microservices.

They must excel in Agile environments, RESTful API development, DevOps, and have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for learning emerging technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Join our agile team and drive the development of robust and scalable web applications.

• 8+ years of experience in software design with strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
• Proficiency in SOLID principles, Dependency Injection (DI), Repository Pattern, Unit of Work Pattern, CQRS, Microservices Architecture, Event Sourcing, DDD Patterns, Singleton, MVC, MVVM.
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue).
• Solid experience with DBMSs (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and strong SQL skills.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with Git and version control.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
• At least 8+ years of development experience in C# and .NET technologies (.NET Core & Framework).

Job Location

We are based out of Bengaluru and work from an office. We encourage working from office, but are completely ok if you would like to work remotely until things return to normal.

Expectations from the role

• You will work closely with the founding team and a small team of engineers, currently outsourced, in a fast-paced environment.
• You will work as a tech lead and will be responsible for architecting the new features as well as improving the existing codebase. You will be expected to have a high degree of ownership and responsibility for deliverables.
• You will wear a product hat as and when required and help in shaping the product.
• You will provide technical mentorship to other engineers in the team and will lead a team of junior engineers.
• You should be able to deal with ambiguity, have strong bias towards action, ability to deep dive whenever required and quickly deliver to unblock the team

Preferred experience and competencies

• You are a software engineer with 4+ years of industry experience.
• Professional experience with at least one web dev framework (ReactJS or Django/Python)
• Professional experience with one or more (SQL or NoSQL) databases.
• A stint in a product company or a startup or any similar faced paced environment is preferable.
• Experience working with cloud infra providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure etc.) is preferable.
• Strong proficiency in REST API

We are looking for a back end developer with strong foundational knowledge of SQL, microservices architecture and Javascript.
