JOB PROFILE: - SOFTWARE ENGINEER TRAINEE

• Experience with Web fundamentals like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and JSP, etc.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), ES6,
• Hands-on exp in Web app development using modern client-side MVC frameworks using ReactJS
• Thorough understanding of ReactJs and its core principles
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience developing custom reusable components in ReactJS
• Proficient understanding of unit testing using JavaScript test frameworks like JEST
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Backend Developer/FullStack Developer - ANGULAR,JAVA

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
2. Experience in Agile development using JIRA, GIT,  Confluence.
3. 3+ years of Experience in  node.js + Express.
4. Experience in profiling, debugging & troubleshooting Node.js processes.
5. Strong Experience as a backend developer for REST API design.
6. Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQLdatabases like  PostgreSQL / MySQL or MongoDB
7. Understanding accessibility and security compliance
8. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
9. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

About Talent Litmus

- Talent Litmus is a game-based platform for assessments and learning founded by IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. We are a young, funded, growing and ambitious startup.

- Imagine if companies were to recruit candidates using interactive mobile games instead of tedious assessments. What if training sessions in organisations were not long 3-day workshops but gripping online role-playing games. We imagined it, and have made it a reality.

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of our web and mobile platform - from specification to design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Design and develop secure, scalable, performant and reliable systems.
• Create a framework of technical standards and procedures
• Collaborative work with other HR tech platforms to implement seamless integration.
• Rapid development and prototyping of new features.

Requirements 

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or Mathematics 2 or more years of demonstrated successful experience in Full-Stack web development.
• Hands-on Experience with designing and building a high-quality front end for web applications.
• Experience with Node. JS, Angular JS, MongoDB, ExpressJS, NestJs, AWS(EC2, Route53, S3, CloudFront, Lambda), Docker, nginx.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Typescript Basic understanding and exposure to GEN AI tech.
• Bonus: experience with CI/CD, and game development (phaser.js, three.js, play canvas, etc. )
• Ability to have smart technical conversations and defend hypotheses with factual data.

Responsibilities:

• Crawl the internet/intranet for issues people are facing and convert them in to stuctured data that would be consumed downstream.
• Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment.
• Comply with coding standards and technical design.
• Adapts structured coding styles for easy review, testing, and maintainability of the code.
• Integrate the developed functionality and/or component into a fully functional system.
• Ensure unit and integration level verification plans are in place and adheres to the great quality of code at all times.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting, debugging and updating current live system.
• Verify user feedback in making the system more stable and easy.
• Work closely with analysts, designers, and other peer developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of OOPS concepts, Persistence, Threading.
• Good understanding of version control system (GIT).
• Knowledgeable in data structures and algorithms.
• A background in Engineering with sound oral and written communication skills.
• 6+ years of experience working on the server-side.
• Exposure to API designing, scalable architecture, and thorough understanding of systems.
• Great database modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of Databases, both relational (such as PostgreSQL) and in-memory database (such as Redis).
• Good understanding of web stack and how all the pieces fit together.
• Experience with open-source projects.
• Experience in designing interactive applications.
