We're seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable backends for the products we build at NonStop. This includes APIs, databases, and server-side logic.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and deploy backend systems, including APIs, databases, and server-side logic

● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices

● Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

● Debug and resolve issues in the existing codebase

● Develop and execute unit tests to ensure high code quality

● Work with DevOps engineers to ensure seamless deployment of software changes

● Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize systems for better scalability and efficiency

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies; advocate for best practices and new ideas within the team

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements

Requirements:

● At least 3+ years of experience building scalable and reliable backend systems

● Strong expertise in NodeJS/NestJS, Express, PostgreSQL

● Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

● Proficiency in database design (SQL and NoSQL)

● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines

● Deep understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms

● Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

● Exceptional communication and leadership skills

● Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns

● Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and methodologies

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

● Strong communication skills and ability to effectively lead and maintain a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a talented Engineering Team of 8+ members.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and assist them in their career progression. Set OKRs, progress checks and do performance evaluations.
• Manage the development pipeline to deliver features on schedule while maintaining high bar for quality.
• Closely Interact with other functions such as PM, Design, UI/UX, Art, QA, and deliver planned features.
• Perform Design reviews, Code reviews
• Create a solid Tech backlog that involves modernizing tech stack, set goals for performance improvements.

Requirements

• Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Should have 8+ years of professional experience in mobile, development using C++, C#, PYTHON, GO Lang, Javascript.
• Should have 2+ years of experience in managing teams, including hiring, mentoring and building strong teams.
• Shown ability to motivate teams and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Desired Skills and Experience NET, C++, Golang, Java, JavaScript, Python, Quality Assurance, C#

• Writing code for both the front end and the back end using MERN stack [MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node. js]
• Creating RESTful API with Node.js
• Maintaining all the required documents for your project.
• Constantly coming up with new ideas and also implementing them to improve the app’s performance.
• Writing code for the app logic as well as the business logic using Reducers, Actions and Redux framework.
• Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code

1. Create Exclusive Distributors (minimum 4 in 4 months) in your respective areas of operation

1. To work directly with the distributor and the sales executives in designing and implementing key marketing campaigns.

Job description

The role requires you to design development pipelines from the ground up, Creation of Docker Files,  design and operate highly available systems in AWS Cloud environments. Also involves Configuration Management, Web Services Architectures, DevOps Implementation, Database management, Backups, and Monitoring.

Key responsibility area
- Ensure reliable operation of CI/CD pipelines
- Orchestrate the provisioning, load balancing, configuration, monitoring and billing of resources in the cloud environment in a highly automated manner
- Logging, metrics and alerting management.
- Creation of Bash/Python scripts for automation
- Performing root cause analysis for production errors.Requirement
- Proficient in Linux Commands line and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in AWS Services. Deployment, Monitoring and troubleshooting applications in AWS.
- Hands-on experience with CI tooling preferably with Jenkins. 
- Proficient in deployment using Ansible.
- Knowledge of infrastructure management tools (Infrastructure as cloud) such as terraform, AWS cloudformation etc.
- Proficient in deployment of applications behind load balancers and proxy servers such as nginx, apache. 
- Scripting languages: Bash, Python, Groovy.
- Experience with Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting tools like ELK(Elastic-search, Logstash, Kibana), Nagios. Graylog, splunk Prometheus, Grafana is a plus.

Must Have:
Linux, CI/CD(Jenkin), AWS, Scripting(Bash,shell Python, Go), Ngnix, Docker.

Good to have
Configuration Management(Ansible or similar tool), Logging tool( ELK or similar), Monitoring tool(Ngios or similar), IaC(Terraform, cloudformation).

- Working on Architecture and Standards team to validate designs and standards.

- Perform coding, bug verification, unit testing, and integration testing.
