About Role

Responsibilities  

• Design and develop a delightful Android application for our users, with a focus on simplicity of use and high-performance  
• Write product-independent code and design modular APIs to be used across all of our products  
• Work across disciplines with team members from front-end, backend, design, and product  
• Help ensure we’re bug-free by writing unit-tests, and regularly communicating with our QA team  
• Actively participate in product decisions, ensuring we set reasonable development deadlines  

Requirements  

• Strong development skills with Kotlin/Java and the Android SDK  
• You have an understanding of MVP and / or MVVM  
• You understand the ins and outs of RESTful web services  
• You have experience developing, releasing, and maintaining Android applications on top of RESTful  APIs 
• You have fundamentals in OO-design, data structures, and problem solving 
• You have great communication skills and ability to work with others  
• You have experience shipping quickly and often, while still maintaining test coverage 
• You are a team player-no job is too small or too big!

Essential Job Functions:

• Design and develop native apps for Android with Kotlin and Flutter/Dart
• Build high quality and secure mobile application
• Work in fast based SCRUM teams
• Interact with Product Owners periodically; understand the requirements and provide application solutions.
• Engage with other mobile developers to create reusable code modules, flutter plugins.
• Promotes and adheres to good development practices: code/design reviews, optimization, and maintainability.
• Maintaining and contributing to technical documentation and coding standards.
• Keeps up to date with mobile application development trends and industry news.
• Design, implement and unit test SaaS applications for the mobile environment.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years hands on design and development with Android SDK with at least two apps in the PlayStore.
• A good understanding of OOPS, MVC, MVP, MVVM and other design patterns.
• Good to have worked in Test Driven Development, or Behavior driven development
• Working experience with WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA success criteria.
• Experience with Git and an understanding of CI/CD
• Experience with REST web services with JSON or XML formatted return data
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum Development process

Education and Experience:

• BE / B Tech / MCA in Computer Science from a reputed university with good academic record

Experience in developing React Native app for iOS and Android platform,

Knowledge of React Native available inbuilt UI components and the props those UI component accept,

Should have worked with major node modules such as react-native-maps, @react-native/community geolocation, offline database, etc,

Handle build for simulator and ipa/apk for UAT/Prod release with signing. (Release Management),

Should have worked and deployed iOS App

Should have worked on sqlite

Should have knowledge of database SQL ( Select and update queries)

• Establishing strategy and development pipelines.
• Planning and implementing native functionality.
• Transforming design ideas into functional code.
• Designing and building native plugin codes.
• Identifying and fixing code errors and native plugin bottlenecks.
