Mobile / Frontend Software Engineer

Job Description-

We are looking for a React Native Lead interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms. Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native. Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality. Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

Skills

Firm grasp of the JavaScript {​{​and TypeScript or ClojureScript}​}​ language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax Knowledge of {​{​functional or object-oriented}​}​ programming Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle {​{​Android Studio, IntelliJ}​}​ Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage Experience with automated testing suites, like {​{​Jest or Mocha}​}​

React Native Application Developer

Job Description

•       As a React Native Developer, your responsibility will include creating a suite of applications and improving the functions of applications in development.
•       Experience in building a React or Native mobile app with traffic at scale
•       Ability to architect, refractor and debug an app without disrupting users
•       Proficient with mobile application life cycles
•       Should have multiple apps deployed to the App Store, Google Play Store and deep knowledge of the distribution processes
•       Understanding of unit and functional testing best practices.
•       Should be able to dive into the source code of front end libraries to debug, patch and extend them when necessary
•       Can take a defined software design and turn it into code.
•       Understands how to optimize the delivery of code and assets (e.g., images, fonts) to a browser or device (e.g., lazy loading assets, using CDNs, caching, compression, etc.).
•       Experience with React Js, React Native, JavaScript including DOM Manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Exp with integrated JSON is a must.
•       Thorough understanding of React Native and its core Principles. Hands-on experience on React Native Framework at least 2 Years.

We are looking to hire a React Native Mobile App Developer for a Singapore based Fintech startup. A joint venture of Singapore Stock Exchange and Temasek an investment company has recently acquired a minority stake in the company. Candidates must have a strong understanding of end-to-end flows encompassing front-end, application server, APIs and databases. The candidates must possess strong programming skills.

Requirements:

• Has demonstrable experience in building mobile apps for iOS and Android using React Native.
• The candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in mobile app development.
• Detail-orientation and appreciation of usability, design and aesthetic elements is a must.
• Overall experience of 3-8 years, with relevant educational background or certifications.
