Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and Vue.js (PHP) framework.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Test and debug applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Optimize application performance and scalability.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Create and maintain technical documentation for applications.

Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in PHP programming language

Experience with Laravel framework

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

Understanding of MVC architecture

Experience with database management systems such as MySQL

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Relevant certifications such as CodeIgniter Certified Developer (optional)

About the team:

Backend - Adis – PV is a scientific analysis platform being built for extracting content from scientific articles and providing meaningful insights

Insights are then published in a structured way, so that they can be made accessible to end users, via feeds delivery or through the platform

Backend - Adis – PV will be a production system for all databases under one IT landscape and under one umbrella.

• Pioneer clean coding and continuous code refactoring
• Understands and appreciates existing design and architecture of the product
• Understands pros and cons of various technology options available
• Takes technical ownership of some of sub-systems of the product
• Makes changes in the product designs to achieve required business value / mileage
• Identify and addresses technical debts
• Understands technical vision and road-map of the product and expectations
• Understands purview of key pieces of deliverables and own few of these pieces

Day at work

• Pioneer proof of concepts of new technologies keeping in view product road-map and business priorities
• Self-study and share his / her learning within the team and across teams
• Provide required help to other team-members
• Pioneer in various team events and work towards objectives of these events
• Make meaningful suggestions to make ceremonies more effective
  
  

About You

• You have several years of experience with Software Development
• You have worked successfully with product teams in the past and ideally have some experience with mentoring junior developers
• You like working in a collaborative environment where there is collective ownership of the code
• You work in a Continuous Integration and always strive for Continuous Delivery
• You like to share and enable others to increase your whole team's performance

Must have skills :

JAVA 8, Apache Camel, Design Patterns, Web Services (REST), RabbitMQ, Build Tool (Maven or Gradle), Version Control (SVN or Git), SQL/PLSQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Application Server (Websphere/JBoss/Weblogic etc.), JUnit.

Preferred skills :

- Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate/Spring Data JPA, .

- Experience working on Node JS/Angular JS/React JS

- Working experience on Docker

- Experience working on Agile methodologies

 B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A/M.Sc(Computer science ) with first division.

- AWS Cloud exposure.

- Basic skills in using the Unix operating system logging on, sudo to another ID, navigating directory structures, debugging simple problems.

- Hands-on experience with building enterprise applications.

- Excellent trouble-shooting skills.

- Thoroughly understanding business problems and the business domain, and how potential solutions may address problems and enhance business capabilities.

- Experience in designing/development (design patterns) and testing of enterprise class systems.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to adapt to changing requirements.

- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.

- Ability to work in deadline driven environment, and respond creatively to pressure.
