Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Drupal Developer with a strong background in Drupal (version 8 and above) for both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS deployments, Drupal theming and module development, and a solid understanding of JavaScript, PHP, and core Drupal architecture. Acquia certifications and contributions to the Drupal community are highly desirable.

Mandatory Skills :

Drupal 8+, PHP, JavaScript, Custom Module & Theming Development, AWS (EC2, Lightsail, S3, CloudFront), Acquia Certified, Drupal Community Contributions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain full-stack Drupal applications, including both front-end (theming) and back-end (custom module) development.
• Deploy and manage Drupal applications on AWS using services like EC2, Lightsail, S3, and CloudFront.
• Work with the Drupal theming layer and module layer to build custom and reusable components.
• Write efficient and scalable PHP code integrated with JavaScript and core JS concepts.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure high-quality user experiences.
• Optimize performance and ensure high availability of applications in cloud environments.
• Contribute to the Drupal community and utilize contributed modules effectively.
• Follow best practices for code versioning, documentation, and CI/CD deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 Years of hands-on experience in Drupal development (Drupal 8 onwards).
• Strong experience in front-end (theming, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end (custom module development, PHP).
• Experience with Drupal deployment on AWS, including services such as EC2, Lightsail, S3, and CloudFront.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, core JS concepts, and PHP coding.
• Acquia certifications such as:
• Drupal Developer Certification
• Site Management Certification
• Acquia Certified Developer (preferred)
• Experience with contributed modules and active participation in the Drupal community is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and modern DevOps tools.

Preferred Certifications :

• Acquia Certified Developer.
• Acquia Site Management Certification.
• Any relevant AWS certifications are a bonus.

• Participating in design discussions, documentation, and development with the team as needed.
• Working closely with the product manager for deliverables and milestones identification.
• Reporting to technical lead/manager on daily activities planned, expected deliverables, and reports as defined for the project.
• Participating in requirement gatherings as required.

• At least 3 years of proven experience of working as a software developer, out of which at least 2 years must be spent in a solid back end role
• Be able to write clean, maintainable code which others can work on
• Familiarity with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Experience in taking a problem to a product solution (module/product) from scratch - a proven record of shipping on time and budget
• You've worked with startups before and understand the fast-paced, dynamic nature of work
• People with high attention to detail, flexible and focused on solutions, organized and self-sufficient, prioritize learning and growth and will enjoy working with a team usually tend to excel in this role

Relevant experience on using tools like JSP, Servlet for web applications

· MVC frame works - Struts or Spring

· Web services- SOAP and REST WebLogic, Hibernate

· Middleware technologies MQ OSB.

· Web/App Servers: Tomcat or WebLogic or JBoss

· Experience using Angular, Micro Services using Spring, jersey, Swagger

· Good knowledge of Backend and Front-end technologies

· Good knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, Ajax, Spring, Java Script, jQuery, HTML

· Good knowledge of any RDBMS database like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL & Cluster set-up, performance benchmarking, client-side API evaluation, knowledge of various deployment strategies

· Strong knowledge with Core JAVA concepts – Exception handling, Multi-threading, Collection, String, OOPS etc…

· Advanced understanding of Windows and Linux based operating systems

· Mainly 3-4 months hands on with reverse engineering and old legacy solutions to new modern applications

· Working knowledge using REST, HTTP, TCP, SCTP protocols

· Hands-on with JAVA frameworks such as – Thread Pool Executor, Object Pooling, Logging (Log4j preferred), XML/JSON handling

Education Criteria:

· Preferred BE degree in CS, E&C, E&E

· Proficient being a J2EE Developer (courses or project done) and data analytics skills

· Flexible to work on any projects assigned

You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

• Design, develop, and maintain a range of web apps using the language of your choice for new and existing client projects
• Develop user-friendly and intuitive front-end interfaces using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Provide technical support for ad hoc initiatives across all departments (e.g. automation, reporting, data analysis, marketing analytics, etc).
• Contribute product and feature ideas that solve problems for our clients, users, and internal team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Security: You must possess a base knowledge of security and the techniques involved for better performing at the outcome of such issues.
  
  
• Soft Skills: Knowing technical skills won't benefit the team, discipline, and the ability to accept criticism all add up to the soft skills of a developer.

• Web Architecture: Will be responsible for web architecture, code structure, data structure, file separation, and the location of computational tasks to help other developers develop applications and also be accountable for planning of the architecture to avoid unnecessary confusion related to the development cycle.

• Debugging: Bugs are relatively common in the development process, you will be responsible for setting up a system for developers to ensure that there are no bugs, and testing the code for bugs marks up as an essential skill.
  
  
• Building and Automation Tools:
 Web performance refers to the amount of time a web app takes to load. If performance time seems to be an issue, it is better to scale the images and omit irrelevant characters. Currently, carrying out this process can be time-consuming, you will be responsible for building and automation tools to come to the team's rescue.

• Database/Web Storage: Need to be an expert in relational databases, NoSQL databases, and memory storage with abilities to design and manipulate complex database queries.
  
  
• Developers must be aware of basic design techniques. It is crucial for designing neat and user-friendly websites that appeal to users; they must have fundamental design principles that include UI/UX design and knowing rapid prototype techniques using tools.
