Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers for carving out the right front-end architecture.
• Develop web applications that are secure, reusable, modular, and scalable.
• Develop robust, modular, and testable code
• Optimize frontend load times, debug rendering issues, and overall provide a smooth experience to the user.
• Work directly with UI/UX, Product, and Customer Success to help create impacting customer features as the product face of FlytBase.

Experience/Skills:

• Experience in building scalable and component-based UI architecture for the enterprise using Angular and/or any modern front-end framework.
• Strong coding experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Implementing micro-frontends patterns using technology like NgRX, NgXS, and Web Components.
• Experience working in a complete Software Development life cycle involving analysis, technical design, development, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, documentation and Agile Methodology
• Good understanding of REST APIs and Microservices. 
• Should have an understanding of how resources are organized and how applications should align based on the same.

Good to have:

• Hands-on experience working with server-side JavaScript frameworks like Express, etc. (based on Node.js) for building APIs.
• Building Micro-Frontend component-based architecture for standardized UI elements across a suite of products will be a plus.
• Experience in CI/CD, Testing, Security, and Code Quality processes for UI applications.

What we are looking for:

• Hands-on experience with key development technologies including Java, J2E, Springboot, React, HTML/CSS/Javascript. Others such as Python, Angular would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of databases, integration architectures/patterns and data modelling essential.
• API best practices, application servers, cloud services (especially AWS) and code quality/secure development all essential. Generative AI knowledge is a must.
• Experience of DevOps, CI/CD and source control tools and best practices required.
• Able to work collaboratively to create POCs and provide technical recommendations for solutions to problems with supporting evidence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects with the Ability to balance business priorities with technical requirements and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Be a strong individual contributor in all aspects of software development lifecycle following agile methodologies (Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy phases of development projects) to deliver high quality solutions that meet business requirements.
• Experience in working with multiple application environments, and support business continuity across multiple geographic regions inclusive of Implementing DevOps culture, and use of tools to ensure Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery for application deployment and adhering to S&P security requirements for vulnerability remediation.
• Perform reviews and integration testing to assure code quality and security standards are met. 
• Support the user base, assisting with tracking down issues and analyzing feedback to identify product improvements; Gather information and feedback from end users to understand and develop project requirements.

• High School diploma or GED required 
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience designing and building scalable web based applications 
• Experience with RESTful web services, Java/Spring framework, NodeJS applications, React & Vue Frameworks 
• Strong relational database modeling and SQL experience (Oracle, MSSQL)f 
• Solid knowledge of testing principle and ability to build comprehensive test suite  
• Demonstrated UI design and UX sensibilities 
• Experience in scripting against Windows/Linux i.e. PowerShell, VB or Unix Shell Script, Python  
• Ability to coordinate the release/deployment process and versioning, code, configuration management 
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket and Opensource Tools and Agile methodologies

• Experience with using JIRA (for defect tracking and for ITSM ticketing with Incident/Problem/Change)  

Responsibilities

• Ability to translate Wireframes and PSD Designs into functional web apps using HTML5, AngularJS, React , Node.js, and Mongo

Responsibilities:

• Design and build beautiful UI using the Angular framework
• Work closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations
• Work closely with product management team to understand user needs; participate in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs
• Develop the UI using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to create great product experiences
• Build RESTful APIs that interface with the Cohesity backend systems
• Develop and Debug end to end from UI to the backend

Qualifications include:

• Strong CS fundamentals including familiarity with data structures and especially the asynchronous challenges that face JavaScript developers today.   
• Experience developing in at least 2 server side languages (PHP, node.js, …)  
• Experience developing in at least 1 client side JS framework (ReactJS, Angular, …)  
• Experience testing software in alignment with the Test Pyramid.  
• Experience with datastores, either SQL (MySQL preferred) or NoSQL, and the ability to talk deeply about them.  
• Able to identify the source of complex problems occurring as a result of multiple systems interacting (experience with observability tools such as datadog/newrelic is a plus).   
• Experience working on a team of 5 engineers plus supporting roles (e.g. QA, design, etc), preferably as a Senior Software Engineer.  
• Experience with code review, being able to sign-off on another team member’s code ensuring high quality standards.  
• Be self-sustained even when tackling the highest profile, most difficult work across the organization.  
• Willingness to accept responsibility and be accountable not only for your own work but the work of the team as a whole.

• Candidate must be familiar with the javascript tech stack

• NodeJS or ReactJS or AngularJS knowledge is desired

• SQL and NoSQL database hands-on production grade experience is desired

• Candidate should be familiar with the version control system and working in a team

• Working experience with Message Queue, Mirco service architecture, Docker containers would be a great advantage.

• Experience designing and developing complex systems that can handle variable load would be an added advantage

• Familiarity with AWS services, deploying and managing workloads would be advantageous
