Lead Engineering / Engineering Manager

Job Profile:-
We’re in search of a Back-End Software Engineer that specializes in server-side components. In this role,
you’ll primarily work on Node JS, Mongo DB, Redis, building scalable products and will bring a depth of
knowledge on algorithms and data structures. As a Back-End Software Engineer, on any given day you
might be architecting new features for our customers, refactoring existing code to be more scalable, and
seeing changes through to completion in a live environment.

and commented-on where appropriate.Through incorporating their cognitive abilities and extensive
industry experience, they are able to find optimal solutions easily.

thinks of the end user of the software and works to solve problems within the organization’s
capabilities.Someone who knows the functionality they’re creating is of high value.
-Business Acumen- Should have a great eye for Business acumen as the product build will be exposed to
millions of customers on-brand digital assets hence giving you exposure for handling a large user base in
a live environment.

devotion, persistence and learning new things every day. As they will be involved in every fact of the
product development starting from product ideation, Interface design, user experience, analytics, and
engineering.
Typical work week look like:-
- Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design
more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Design and implementation of scalable applications by using asynchronous programming with
low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications between multiple systems, servers, and
environments.
-Integration of data storage solutions by creating database schemas that represent and support business
processes and also Integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Explore technical innovation and propose new solutions as and when required.
- Work with engineers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision
into a tangible roadmap every month.
Our ideal candidate should have:-
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a Tech Startup
- A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BE/BTech or MS in Information
Technologies/Computer Science)
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and knowledge of Node.js and frameworks.
- Strong hands on MongoDB and ability to write aggregation queries.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on on code versioning tools, such as Git, Redis, AWS, Sockets

● have mastered NodeJS (TypeScript), with at least 5 years of experience
● have good experience building large scale products on a No SQL database (MongoDB
preferred)
● know about building and scaling a product to handle large volumes of financial data and
transactions using Microservices architecture
● have experience working with and integrating 3rd party applications using RESTful APIs
● have seen the startup journey through business pivots and be willing to partner with the
business teams to drive engineering and product decisions
● have worked with large teams of engineering and product team members
● be able to advise the engineering team and enforce good coding and collaboration
practices making use of Object Oriented Programming, while ensuring the highest code
quality
● constantly strive to optimize the application from an efficiency, scalability and security
perspective and actively own the code reviews for the team
● conform to the agile development framework and own up to quality and reliability of the
deliverables
● have some exposure to front end technologies like React
● have worked with multiple hosting and service infrastructures including Azure and have
dabbled with the infra using Kubernetes, Docker,Pager Duty, New Relic, Data Dog, etc.

● Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows
● Be responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementation.
● Good understanding of GoLang and microservices
● To take up development and deployment of native code to manage the customer facing platforms
● Explain complex technical issues to project managers, developers, application leads and architects in an easy to understand manner, and recommend clearly thought out solutions.
● Knowledge of Integration Design patterns for building middleware systems from the ground up
● Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, standards and ability to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions in a multi-vendor and architecture discussions.
● Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards and programming
● Troubleshoot issues and provide bug fixes
● Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution
● Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the program leadership and contribute towards on-time and on-budget delivery

3 to 5 years plus experience on having implemented Hybris Commerce Solution.
Working experience of Java, Spring and Hibernate is must
Working experience of customizing Hybris Accelerators
Proficient in Hybris core concepts and commerce concepts including, but not limited to, Hybris PCM Data Modeling, Endeca/SOLR, WCMS/ Customer
Experience Manager, Cockpits, Cron jobs, internationalization,
personalization, security concepts and REST.
Proficient in catalog, order management, promotions, B2B commerce.
Should have experience of handling multi/Omni-channel architecture
through related Hybris Channel management modules.
Good understanding of integration patterns/methodologies of Hybris with
Organic SEO Search, Faceted Search and Commerce Search.
Should have exposure on the continuous integration build tools and code quality tools
Working experience of Integration with external services such as payment gateways, Order management solution using Web services such as REST and SOAP
Working experience of SOLR Search Engine is a plus

• You will design, build and own APIs and Services, which will be the core of the product.
• You will participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• You will part of developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• You will have to take lead on projects, compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas of improvement.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in building highly scalable backend systems.
• Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as JAVA, Operating System may be required, and Experience in Databases such as MySQL or Postgre SQL
• Strong understanding of Computer Science Fundamentals, Data Structures and Algorithms, SOLID Design Principles, and REST Patterns.
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
