Role Description

If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to work with an established marketing

communications agency, you have come to the right place. We are looking for a full-

time On-Site Back End developer Laravel | Exp: 2 to 3 Years | 3 - 5 LPA, based in

Greater Bengaluru Area. As a Back End Engineer at Honeycomb Creative Support,

you will be a part of our development team, responsible for building server

applications and APIs.

Qualifications

• PHP and PHP Frameworks

• Laravel and CodeIgniter must

• Good Knowledge in any MVC Frameworks.

• Basic knowledge of AWS

• MySQL

• Basic knowledge in Node.js

• Experience with building RESTful APIs and API development

• Knowledge of GIT-based source control

• Understanding of how to test and debug web applications

• Understanding of modern PHP development practices, design patterns, and SOLID principles

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

As a PHP Laravel Backend Developer at Chhayakart, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our web applications. Your expertise in backend development and API development & integration will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our product

Qualification :

 Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience :

  Minimum 1 year experience in PHP, Laravel Also API Integration profile.

Technical Skills Required:

 Laravel , PHP (oops Concept Also), JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the frontend development team to understand the requirements and design APIs that align with the frontend components developed in React.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on PHP Laravel development.
• Strong understanding of database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable PHP Laravel backend systems that support the functionality of our web applications.
• Build RESTful APIs that enable smooth communication between the frontend and backend, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
• Implement data storage solutions, including databases, caching mechanisms, and other data persistence technologies.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Ensure the security and data protection of the backend systems, implementing necessary authentication and authorization measures.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness through techniques such as caching, query optimization, and load balancing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in backend development and technology.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining highly scalable websites
• All aspects of the project development cycle using PHP and strong OOPS concepts
• Code review and walkthroughs
• Sprint planning and effort estimations

You have in-depth experience in: 

• Developing complex web-applications
• Frameworks such Laravel, CakePHP , React.js
• RDBMS such as MySQL, SQL

You add value with exposure to:

• Flutter Development
• Cloud hosting & Auto Scaling: AWS, Azure, Google cloud
• Unit testing: PHPUnit, PEST
• Cache / Data structure 
• CI/CD: Bitbucket pipelines, AWS Codepipeline, Jenkins

Job Responsibilities

• Build, test and set up cutting-edge website applications in an efficient matter; work with other developers to fill data acquisition requirements
• Identify and fix CSS, HTML and scripting compatibility issues between a variety of platforms and browsers; test websites on different browsers and mobile device browsers; correct problems identified by customer feedback
• Investigate and discover architectural considerations, such as web usability, site performance and database design, as part of the system design process; research and assess implementation alternatives for new application features
• Collaborate and communicate with development teams and management to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, choose solutions or develop content criteria
• Develop procedures for ongoing website revision; recommend performance improvements; create and refine style guidelines for website content; select design tools, programming languages or applications
• Provide detailed explanations of website specifications, such as activities, software, product features, programming languages, communication protocols and operating systems hardware and software
• Remain up to date about current programming practices and web technologies through reading, continuing education opportunities or participation in professional workshops, groups or conferences

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in PHP, Javascript, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery, CSS and HTML
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:

Primary Skills -

• PHP Version 7.1.33 or higher
• Codeigniter 3 or higher (PHP MVC Framework)
• MS SQL Server 2005 (DB)
• Apache 2.4.6 or higher (Web Server)Ubuntu 18.04 or higher / Red Hat Linux / Similar (Operating System on machines).

Good to Have:

The knowledge of any of the following Content Management Systems:
