PHP Developer

Developer Requirements/Expectations:

• Experience: 5+ Years
• Tech Stack: Core PHP, MySQL, Basic JavaScript, Oracle
• 3rd Party Integration: Payment Gateways (Apple Pay Wallet, Google Pay, Stripe)
• Tools: Trello, Slack, Github
• Soft Skills: Team Work, Excellent Client Communication. 

Engagement Type: Full Time, Dedicated

• Work Hours: 8 Hours per day, 160 hours per month
• Shift: 10 AM-7 AM IST (Including Lunch hour)
• Work shifts need to be flexible to accommodate client calls in EST.

Location: Ahmedabad (Hybrid)

We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Skills And Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Codeigniter
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good team player that is enthusiastic about delivering results

Education Should be ME/MCS/MCA/BE

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work in an existing codebase and collaborate with a diverse team
• Experience in building enterprise-scale backend REST APIs with frameworks such as Nest.js & Express.js using an API-first paradigm
• Intimate knowledge of crafting highly performing database queries
• Hands-on experience implementing relational database structures, including tables, indexes, views, etc.
• A mindset towards building systems for the cloud and DevOps fundamentals
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services is good to have. If not then willingness to learn should be there.
• Focus towards building security, performance, and scalability into services from the beginning
• Experience with debugging code and troubleshooting technical issues in order to craft appropriate solutions

• Experience in building both front-end and back-end of the website
• Knowledge of WordPress Plugins
• Excellent and written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
• Good understanding of Web architecture
• Analysing website performance and troubleshooting errors
• Conducts Wordpress design/development research and performs discovery analyses for new client projects, including content reviews and wireframing.
• Creates Wordpress design/development strategies based on research.
• Stay up-to-date with new web technologies.

• Actively participate in all the Scrum Ceremonies
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules / applications
• Document the functionality developed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
• Provide deliverables with high quality by the committed timeline

• Must have good experience in Symfony Framework otherwise in ZendFramework / Laravel.
• Candidate must have Strong command in Mysql, Mongodb etc.
• Ability to apply OOP concepts during development.
• Must have Hands-on experience in AWS Services
• Must have Hands-on experience in code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Exposure and experience working in Agile methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and love technical challenges.

• Must have experience with GIT / GITHUB.

Optional skills:

• Clarity on OOPs Concepts.
• Create, implement and maintainence of Web Services using both REST and SOAP API.
