MERN Stack Developer

Location: Surat, Gujarat (No WFH )

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (MERN) with hands-on experience in building highly scalable, performance-driven applications. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development, microservices, and database optimization for large-scale systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that can handle high concurrency (1,000+ active users) while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams — including product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers — to deliver cutting-edge, enterprise-grade solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and distributed web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React/Next.js, Node.js).
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for high-performance, concurrent environments.
• Architect and manage MongoDB databases, ensuring high availability, efficient query performance, and scalability.
• Implement queueing systems (e.g., BullMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Queues) for background jobs and asynchronous processing.
• Optimize server and client performance to support real-time data updates and high concurrent user loads.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve deployment pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing, profiling, and debugging to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize both code and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning to ensure technical excellence and scalability across all layers.

Qualification / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 + years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using the MERN stack.
• Proven experience working on applications supporting 1,000+ concurrent users or large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in:
• Node.js (asynchronous programming, clustering, performance optimization)
• Next.js & React.js (SSR, CSR, and dynamic rendering)
• MongoDB (aggregation pipelines, indexing, schema design for scalability)
• Practical experience with message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Streams).
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) to optimize performance.
• Experience with Docker and microservices-based architectures is a plus.
• Good understanding of API design, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth), and security best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using Git-based version control.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to serverless computing (AWS Lambda).
• Experience with monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Experience in real-time communication (WebSockets, Socket.io).

We are looking for a full stack developer having expertise in web development, with experience in React, NodeJS, Postgres. Should also have experience with API development & integration.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop back-end components that are scalable and reusable which aligns

with the existing architecture.

- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-

side logic.

- Design, build, test, and document code

- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide

technical solutions.

- Make architecture decisions that contribute to maintainable systems.

Skill(s) required:

- HTML , JavaScript , CSS , NodeJs, ReactJs, Redux, Redux Saga, Postgres, SQL,

Git

- Computer science graduates would be preferred

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS,

and React.js)

- Basic understanding of tech stacks - Postgres & Git

- Ability to work independently is a must.

- To add new features according to the requirements, to work on regular updates

as per the latest technological advancements.

- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session

management

You will be responsible for:

- Architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the

teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

- Building pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

- Maintaining code and writing automated tests to ensure the product is of the

highest quality.

- Diagnosing and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that

feels native.

BackendDeveloper/PHP Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build efficient, scalable systems that are used by millions of people,
• Own what you build as you create, test, and refine what’s under the hood of our pages and services,
• Investigate production issues pertaining to customer features to determine root cause and implement solutions,
• Investigate existing queries and write new queries with performance optimization in mind,

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience,
• Proficiency in web scripting programming with PHP,

• Experience with cloud services like AWS is plus,

Additional Requirements:

1. 10+ years of Software Development background.
2. Min 3 Years of working experience as an Architect.
3. Deep background knowledge in software development and architecture with Java for Enterprise solutions.
4. A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS or related field) from IITs and Premier Engineering College.
5. Excellent Object Orientation, coupled with excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
6. Highly skilled at Java and related technologies, including Java Frameworks like Spring-boot or Drop wizard, RESTful web services, J SON, Servlet, JSP, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, AWS, Solr.
7. Must have hands-on experience in building scalable and secure back-end systems.
8. Have hands-on experience with systems that are asynchronous, RESTful and demand concurrency
9. Good to have knowledge of best software engineering practices for all stages of the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, deployment.
10. 5-9 years of software development experience in Java with web architecture and scalable design.
11. Experience with agile development, continuous delivery, and DevOps and related tools.
