1. Build an automated regression system

• Create a test suite that catches 90%+ of conversation quality issues before release
• Cover:

2. Own conversation test harness

• Build a system to simulate:

3. Reduce production incidents

• Bring P1 incidents down to <1 per account per month, even at 5x scale

• What is acceptable quality

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation, and building scalable testing practices in a product-based environment. This role requires a strong mix of hands-on automation expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

● Own end-to-end quality assurance strategy for the product across web and mobile platforms

● Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites

● Actively contribute as a hands-on automation engineer while mentoring the QA team

● Define and enforce QA processes, best practices and quality benchmarks

● Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Design teams throughout the SDLC

Qualification/Skills required-

● Solid understanding of manual testing, automation testing, API testing and regression testing

● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into release workflows

● Exposure to performance or security testing

● Experience testing scalable, consumer-facing products

We are looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing Generative AI systems, LLMs, and RAG pipelines. This role goes beyond traditional QA and focuses on evaluating non-deterministic AI outputs, testing agentic workflows, and ensuring AI safety, accuracy, and reliability in enterprise-grade AI services.

You will work on API-driven AI services such as Intelligent Document Processing and AI Gateways, ensuring they meet enterprise standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and validate Generative AI applications, LLMs, and RAG-based systems
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, groundedness, coherence, and hallucination
• Design and execute test strategies for multi-step agentic workflows
• Perform API and integration testing for AI services
• Build automated test pipelines using Python
• Create synthetic datasets for testing AI systems
• Conduct adversarial testing (prompt injection, safety, guardrails)
• Integrate AI testing into CI/CD pipelines

Must-Have Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in QA / Test Automation
• Hands-on experience testing Generative AI / LLM-based applications
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with RAG pipelines
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, TruLens, LangSmith or similar)
• Strong experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Experience testing multi-agent workflows / agentic systems
• Understanding of hallucination, prompt injection, and AI safety concepts

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with GCP (Vertex AI) or Azure OpenAI
• SQL / NoSQL knowledge for data validation
• Experience in BFSI / Insurance domain
• Performance testing of APIs and AI systems

Additional Information

• Candidates without hands-on experience in testing Generative AI / LLM systems will not be considered
• Immediate to 45 days notice period preferred 

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
• Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.
• Handling technical communications and understanding the customers' systems.
• Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.

What does the role look like?

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, and technically-savvy Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE). Should be an excellent individual contributor capable of understanding and driving test execution with minimal help. Who can work towards understanding application performance, functionality, and features to great depth enabling them to report issues, take ownership and drive them to closure.

What will you be doing?
 Develop and execute automated tests and test plans
 Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of the products(API and App)
 Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
 Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
 Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
 Work with Engineering and product to understand the overall product requirements and technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
 Ensure the highest quality product delivery with security.
 Evaluating and integrate open source and in house developed toolsets

What will you need ?
 Bachelor/Master degree in CS or related field from a reputed college
 Experience in manual testing for Application and APIs
 Experience in automation testing using available framework.
 Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing frameworks and tools
 Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test execution and reporting.
 Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical partners.
 Understanding & experience with software design pattern, restful APIs and microservice architecture
 Prior experience in start-ups or health-tech will be a plus
