Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot and Angular to lead the development of enterprise-grade applications for a large-scale Banking/Financial Services project. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical leadership with strong architecture, design, and stakeholder management capabilities while driving the delivery of high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 8–10 developers across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.
- Drive technical solutioning, architecture discussions, and application modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and development best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, design reviews, sprint planning, and technical grooming sessions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
- Hands-on expertise in Angular 8+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, API design, and secure application development.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is advantageous.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Domain Experience (Preferred)
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Credit Cards, Lending, Payments, Risk, Fraud, Customer Servicing, or Digital Banking platforms.
- Understanding of secure, high-volume transaction processing systems and regulatory/compliance-driven environments.
