Java Fullstack Developer

We’re hiring a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to join as our first technical hire and help turn our operational edge into scalable software. You’ll work directly with the founding team to:

* Build internal and guest-facing tools in React

* Develop a Node.js backend to power core workflows

* Integrate with property management software APIs (e.g., Guesty, Hostaway, Airbnb)

* Implement and extend functionality using AI APIs like OpenAI (required)

Our Stack

* Frontend: React

* Backend: Node.js (Express or similar)

* Database: MongoDB or Postgres

* APIs: REST/GraphQL, PMS integrations

* AI: OpenAI API and related services

Must-Have Skills

* 2+ years of full-stack development experience

* Strong proficiency in React and Node.js

* Demonstrated experience integrating external APIs (especially SaaS or PMS platforms)

* Familiarity working with OpenAI or other AI APIs

* Ability to work independently and ship quickly

Nice to Have

* Background in hospitality, rentals, or operational software

* Experience building dashboards or guest lifecycle tools

* Bonus: Prior experience with Guesty, Hostaway, or PMS APIs

• Creating RESTful services with Node.js (Express)
• React & React Native
• Mongoose & MongoDB.

• Hands-on experience with Ubuntu-based servers
• Hands on experience in deploying on Digital Ocean Droplets
• Hands on experience with google maps integration

We are looking for a Java Developer with minimum 3 to 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing.
• Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs comply with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive, design, build and deliver end-to-end solutions using Agile and User Centered Design processes.
• Build a distributed system based on SOLID design principles, concurrency, and distributed data.
• Demonstrate experience  writing enterprise software applications for high frequency and low latency environments.
• Hit the ground running with a typical Java ecosystem (Spring & its sub-projects, dependency injection, maven, hibernate, etc.)
• Maintain quality, modularity and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Be able to pick up new technologies along their whole development stack including non-java ecosystems.  
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design to launch new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design.
• Work with third-party data-sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Maintain code integrity and organisation.
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
• Build a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience and deep understanding in Java 8, including multithreading, data-structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of distributed architecture concepts, Design patterns, SOLID principles, 

SOA, Microservices, Cloud hosting solutions (preferably AWS).

• Good experience in developing REST API and Json, in Java backend applications.
• Hands on experience with SQL, NoSQL concepts.
• Test driven development, including unit test cases using any test framework (JUnit, spring-test, MockMvc), and end-to end testing.
• Excellence in writing and maintaining clear end-user documentation including API specifications, patterns, best practices, and data definitions, including Swagger.
• Good knowledge of GIT.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and build automation tools like Jenkins pipelines for Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Delivery (CD), maven/Gradle
• Experience with Agile software development (e.g., SCRUM or KANBAN) and/ or User Centered design process.
• Experience in working with Angular 6+/ReactJS 16+ & Redux, JSP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Javascript will be a plus.

Job Overview      :

This Jr. Developer position has design, development and maintenance    responsibility for the software applications and processes associated with our product oriented company. This role will initially focus specifically on the developing application as per requirements provided by the product owner.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Understand our client's infrastructure and technical environment to provide best of breed technical consulting services.
2. Diligently monitor, optimize and report on integration and deployment performance for key accounts against KPIs, with proactive cross functional and internal communication on customer deployments.
3. Regular consultation with cross functional teams on account deployments to ensure optimal performance and delivery.
4. Handle technical troubleshooting

Job Requirements:

1. B.E/B.S/B.Tech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
2. Must have minimum 2-4 years of experience in the Angular-Node-PostgreSQL tech stack.  (proof of experience to be submitted for verification on request)
3. Should have worked on Architect / Consultant role in the tech stack.
4. Proficient in Object Oriented Programming.
5. Experience in performing SQL queries on a RDMS especially in PostgreSQL.
6. Extensive experience in Angular Front end and Node – Express server side.
7. Good at API development & integration, debugging and fixing the issues with API.
