We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with expertise in building scalable, extensible applications, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, collaborate with other team members to innovate current/new products; Identify, communicate and implement best practices for application engineering. We’d love for you to have:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a backend developer is required
• Education: B.Tech. in Computer Science from tier - 1 engineering colleges in India

• A self-starter who is passionate about problem solving across complex technology stack.
• Highly skilled back-end engineer using Object-Oriented programming preferably Java, exposure to open source libraries and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge and experience in REST based programming using Restlet framework.
• Ability and experience in evaluation and integration of third party systems and libraries.
• Experience in system architecture, data structures, algorithm design and their optimization.
• Passion for performance benchmarking and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of web standards (i.e. REST/SOAP) concepts
• Knowledge of version control (GIT) and databases (MySQL)
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, design, develop, debug, document, and deliver (especially in a multiple location organization).
• Experience in Test-driven development.

The Python Backend Engineer position may be a good fit for you if:

1. You have 3 (or more) years of experience building and maintaining cloud applications.
2. You have built APIs with Python, Flask, Django or FastAPI before.
3. You have experience working with relational databases like PostgresSQL or MySQL and have spent time writing SQL queries for large datasets.
4. Experience in writing Unit tests with pytest.
5. You have worked with Docker, docker-compose.
6. Familiarity with the AWS ECS stack.

Role and Responsibility
The position requires for an individual to Develop high-volume, low-latency application for data
analytics for big consumer product corporations. The position also requires the candidate to Contribute
in all phases of the development lifecycle, write well designed, testable, efficient code. Should ensure
designs follow specifications.
An ideal candidate will be/have:
• Strong experience in Python/JAVA.
• Familiarity with Test driven development and Continuous Integration.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on with code development tools (Eclipse, GIT, Jenkins, Unit, Testing Frameworks).
• Familiar with Software development methodology like Agile methodology.
• Ability to write complex SQL.

Strong knowledge of full stack development and JAVA programming language. Hands on experience with modern APIs like REST. Knowledge about cloud technologies like OpenStack/AWS/Azure is a must. Good knowledge of Internet Protocols. Good knowledge on microservices. Telecommunication background is a big advantage. Knows how to design and write efficient code by using best software development practices, creating new application features using the Spring platform and implementing access to back end features by using REST.
