Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

What We’re Looking For: 

Minimum 5 - 8 years of work experience in Software application development. 

• 3+ Years of experience as a full stack developer with experience in the design and implementation of UI using React.js. 
• 5+ Years of experience in developing APIs using Node.js, and having experience with Golang will be an added advantage. 
• Proven experience in React design guidelines, SDK, and excellent JavaScript skills. 
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL-based databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. 
• Familiarity with API security models including but not limited to OAuth, JSON Web Token, Digital Certificates, Basic Authentication, and OpenID. 
• Exposure to DevOps culture with hands-on experience in Jenkins for CI/CD would be an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of containerization utilizing Docker and Kubernetes will be an added advantage. 

Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and responsibility with release goals. This includes understanding requirements, technical specifications, design, architecture, implementation, unit testing, builds/deployments, and code management. 
• Ensure compliance through the adoption of enterprise standards and promotion of best practice / guiding principles aligned with organization standards. 
• Build and maintain the environment for speed, accuracy, consistency, and ‘up’ time. 
• Hands-on position requiring strong analytical, architectural, development, and debugging skills that includes both development and operations. 
• Developing front-end website architecture and designing user interactions on web pages, ensuring the responsiveness of applications. 
• Developing back-end APIs and creating servers and databases for functionality. 
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features. 
• Designing and developing APIs meeting both technical and consumer needs.

We’re seeking a Senior full stack developer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. This person will have complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The full stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Working with technical architects, able to convert the architecture into design and code in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, and NodeJS.

·       Able to generate LLD documents.

·       Ability to write Quality code with minimum defects.

·       Unit Test and following the coding standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

·       5+ years strong programming and logical skills in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, Object Oriented Java script, NodeJS and HTML5

·       Hands on Experience on Java (Spring Boot), and MySQL is mandatory. Must have completed at least 2 full projects using Spring boot and AngularJS.

·       Excellent knowledge and experience in Spring JPA, RESTful webservices implementation.

·       NodeJS experience is value add

·       Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.

·       Must be able to mentor and guide junior technical resources.

·       One who is proactive and come forward with technology related initiatives. Motivated self-starter. 

·       Good Communication skills. English - Oral and Written.

The Technical Consultant is responsible for the design, development and deployment of assigned technical functionality for client projects in the social services, health and human services domain. A technical consultant works under the guidance of the Technical Architect and/or Senior Technical Consultant on design and development issues. A technical consultant will act as technology expert on the client implementation projects on direct customer facing positions on Diona’s customer engagements around the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Works with the Technical Architect/Principal Technical Consultant/Senior Technical Consultant to implement the optimum solution with the chosen COTS platform
• Works within the project team to ensure that the project technical standards are properly applied
• Works as part of a team to implement client business requirements in a timely, performance-centric and configurable/maintainable manner
• Liaise with team members and COTS vendors (as applicable) to ensure a quality project deliverable
• Apply problem solving techniques and product capability knowledge to ensure best results for the client engagement
• Prepare and deliver domain best practice/product capability presentations
• Present a professional and knowledgeable image of Diona Technologies Limited to customers

Skills and Attributes:

• 3+ years of experience in Software Design, Planning and Development using Java and allied technologies
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, Java and strong object-oriented development is a must
• Experience with integration technologies such as SOAP and REST web services, Apache Camel, Spring Batch is a must
• Knowledge of JDBC, SQL, XML, JSON and HTML is a must
• Experience in the social and human services domain and COTS implementation is a plus
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS, ReactJS, ExpressJS, Angular is a bonus
• Experience with MongoDB or any NoSQL database is a bonus
• Experience with Android or iOS mobile app development a bonus
• Exposure to IBM rational software design tools is a plus
• In-depth understanding of the entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance
• Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Educational qualification:

Engineering Degree or equivalent from recognized institutes

Technical:

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS & Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience in JavaScript Frontend Framework/Library (ie ReactJS, gatsbyjs, AngularJS, Vue.js)
• Experience in JavaScript Backend Framework/Library (ie Node.js, Express.js)
• Experience with Popular React.js Workflows (i.e. Flux or Redux)
• Familiar with JavaScript Standard ECMAScript (or ES)
• Knowledge of secure authorization mechanisms, i.e. JSON Web Token

• 15-20 years experience working on projects utilizing: Java, Web Development/REST (preferably with Spring), Linux, JUnit, Mocking, Maven, JavaScript, GIT
• Experience in the following areas are preferred – Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Security with OAuth2, SOAP and SOAP UI, Jenkins configuration, AngularJS, RedHat PaaS (RHEL, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Camel, Fuse)
• Well versed in front end and back end development
• Good understanding of encryption technology
• Knowledge of infrastructure especially cloud infrastructure is desirable
• Should be conversant with DevOps methodologies
• At least 3 years of experience as a technical lead – coaching, presenting architectural/design elements to customers and team members
• Should possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Should have experience reviewing code for team members and etching out a concrete code quality plan
• Should have at least two years of experience working on projects using Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Should have 2+ years of experience using JUnit on projects

• At least 4+ years handling customers directly should have presented architecture artifacts and technical solutions to customers and influenced customers
