As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high performance, scalable, and secure applications. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer with experience in the Spring Framework to join our dynamic team. This is a remote/work-from-home position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using the Spring Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements
• Gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Key Requirements:

• 2 to 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.).
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain software applications using Java programming language

Write well-designed, testable, efficient code

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner

Troubleshoot and debug software issues

Ensure software quality by performing thorough testing and code reviews

Keep up-to-date with new technologies and programming languages

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, designing, coding, testing, and deploying software

Document software development processes, procedures and code changes

Provide technical guidance to team members

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development

Strong knowledge of Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)

Proficient in using development tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.)

Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)

Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with microservices architecture

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)

Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)

Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Technical Skills/Requirements

 Demonstrated expertise in building, shipping and supporting innovative, scalable

enterprise-class applications

 Strong familiarity with Object Orientation concepts

 Strong Experience in Java, J2EE, Core Java, Advance Java is must

 Strong Experience in working with database server is must

 Experience with web development frameworks like Spring is must.

 Experienced in using Websphere, WebLogic, JBOSS or TomCat application

servers

 Must be knowledgeable in at least one of the relational DBs (Oracle, DB2 or MS-

SQL)

 Experience is Javascript

 Experience in CSS, Angular, EXTJS, Bootstrap, JQuery is preferred

 Experience in JSP, Servlet, Tag Libray,, XSLT, Restful API’s is preferred

 Good understanding of Java, J2EE, SOA/Web services, EAI patterns, long

running business processes, UML and OOAD.

 4+ years of overall software development experience, preferably in a product

development company

• Experience in RESTful/SOAP web services in integrating with 3rd Party API Integrations.
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in multi-threading and concurrency is a plus Experience in JMS messaging using Apache Zookeeper and Kafka is a plus.
• Experience in Angular is a plus. Knowledge of modern CI/CD environments: Git, Gradle, GitLab Familiarity with tools like Postman, SOAPUI, IntelliJ

• Willing to learn our tech-stack (Kotlin | CDI | Angular).
• Develop API integrations using RESTful/SOAP web services.
• Significant technical academic course work or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge on cloud infrastructure is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, architect and develop advanced software solutions in a cross functional Agile team supporting multiple projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with product owners and/or the business on requirements definition, development of functional specifications, and design
• Collaborate on or lead development of technical design and specifications as required
• Code, test and document new applications as well as changes to existing system functionality and ensure successful completion
• Take on leadership roles as needed

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of software development experience using GoLang/Java programming language
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP/Pivotal Cloud Foundry/any private cloud) and containerization is required
• Experience with a micro-services architecture is a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other Relational Databases
• Test-driven development mindset and a focus on quality, scalability and performance
• Strong programming fundamentals and ability to produce high quality code
• Solid understanding of Agile (SCRUM) Development Process required
