Java Developer

Strong Java Backend Engineer.

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years of backend development with strong focus on Java (Spring / Spring Boot)

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have been a SDE-3 or SDE-2 for at least 2.5 years in a Decacorn(title should be there in resume)

Mandatory (Tech skill 1) : Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

Mandatory (Tech skill 2): Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, and async programming

Mandatory (Tech skill 3): Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Mandatory (Tech skill 4) : Exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ and Redis/Memcached

Mandatory (Tech skill 5): Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes

Mandatory (Tech skill 6) : Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

Mandatory (Tech skill 7): Must have worked on core product/platform teams rather than support or internal tooling

Mandatory (Ownership & Impact): Candidate should demonstrate end-to-end ownership of backend systems, including architecture/design decisions (HLD/LLD), scalability improvements, or measurable production impact (resume should clearly mention metrics such as scale, throughput, latency improvements, reliability, cost optimization, or user impact)

Mandatory (Company) - Top New Age, Fast-scaled, Tech-First Product Companies (Like Series B+ / Unicorn Indian startups, or Tech-first Global companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft etc)

Mandatory (Stability): Must have stayed for at least 2 years with each of the previous companies

Mandatory (Education): B.Tech in computer science or related field from Tier 1, Tier 2 colleges

Mandatory (Note): Education can be ignored for candidates with proven experience in strong, reputed product companies

Desired Skills :

We are looking "Java Developer" for Reputed Client @ Coimbatore Permanent Role.

• Experience of more than 3 years in JAVA development is mandatory

• Ability to Design, Develop and Build JAVA web applications and conduct

• Software Analysis, Programming, testing and Debugging. 

• Good Analytical & Problem solving skills

• Should be a team player and able to lead teams of smaller sizes. 

• Provide timely update to Management on on-going development

• Back-end Developer.

Mandatory Skills:

• Core JAVA

• At least 1 Web frameworks (e.g., Struts and Spring)

• Service-oriented architecture/web services (SOAP/REST)

• Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and patterns. 

• Eclipse IDE

Key roles:

·       Develop backend application with clean code practices foe the application

·       Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic

·       Troubleshoot and debug application

·       Gather and address technical and design requirements

·       Build reusable code and libraries for future user-facing

·       Communicate with other third-party team for collaborations

Skillset:

·       Core Java - Hands on experience with Jdk 11 and above

·       Experience with code hosting and collaboration tools like Bitbucket/Github/GitLab

·       Microservice architecture - Rest API calls, inter-service exception handling

·       Non-relational DB - MongoDB basic DB commands to insert, update, delete, find records and Indexing

·       Springboot framework - Spring Data JPA, ORM

·       Event driven architecture - Kafka

·       Tools like Postman, Jenkins, Doppler, IDE, MongoDB atlas

Qualifications:

·       UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, B.Sc in Any Specialization, BCA in Any Specialization

·       PG: Any Postgraduate

Must Haves

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 4+ years’  work experience in  software development
• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Understanding of operating system fundamentals (Linux)
• Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities
• Working experience with Kubernetes
• Experienced working with distributed databases at scale

Good to haves

• Experience in developing software using AWS native services & technologies.
• Experience taking a lead role in building and operating scalable distributed systems
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
• Familiar with building secure software using modern security principles
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
