Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Min 6 years of development experience in Spring Boot & Microservices architecture
• Working experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, Spring Data JPA, AWS, Spring Cloud, Maven, GitHub, Swagger, Eureka, Zuul etc.
• Strong understanding of API Security for Microservices (Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JWT)
• Strong understanding of web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Ability to work independently or with group

• Strong understanding of modern development methodologies and best industry standards
• Experience working with APIs, RESTful APIs & Microservices
• Experience building highly scalable applications using Redis, Kafka, Akka, gRPC
• Mentor, Train 3-4 engineers 
• AWS knowledge is a plus
• Strong knowledge on SQL and NoSQL Databases

Our team is looking for experienced backend engineers to lead the development of our cloud-based software products and be responsible for major technical decisions associated with them and accountable for their successful execution.

In this position on the software engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to client and internal facing products. FarmSetu’s suite of products spans multiple technical domains and disciplines in software and hardware, and experience in end-to-end systems thinking across distributed components is key for this role.

• Design, implement and deploy back-end services
• Lead the delivery of software projects in a team-based environment

• 2+ years of experience developing applications at an enterprise scale using the front and back-end technologies in our stack

About Client : Our client is an American company that develops, manufactures and sells solar micro-inverters, energy generation monitoring software and battery energy storage products

The Back-End engineer will develop, maintain, architect & expand cloud microservices. Codebase uses Java, Spring Boot, Mongo, REST APIs, MySQL. Applications are dockerized and hosted in AWS using plethora of AWS services.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

• Programming in Java + Spring Boot
