Java Developer

Objective of the Role:

The Application Developer’s primary objective is to design, create, and maintain integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Main Role (Overall Accountability):

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect various applications, systems, and services.
• Customize and configure OIC adapters, connectors, and components to meet specific integration requirements.
• Develop RESTful and SOAP web services for data exchange and communication between different systems.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda functions for integration with AWS services).
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and define integration workflows and data flows.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of integration solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes, interfaces, and configurations.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, development methodologies, and security protocols throughout the software development lifecycle.

Personnel Specification

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5 or more years of experience in the IT industry.
• Experience in cloud-based integration platforms.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using OIC.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, and other data formats.
• Experience in cloud-based integration platforms, writing AWS Lambda functions, and creating integrations across various channels.
• Strong knowledge of OIC API integrations.
• Strong understanding of SOAP-based and REST-based services.
• Strong development skills in Java.
• Strong knowledge of authentication methodologies used in integration platforms (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of OIC GEN2 and GEN3.

• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.

T3:

1. Bachelor's degree or above, computer or related major, more than 3 years of Java EE development experience.

2. Have a solid foundation in JAVA, have strong OOP and OOD development ideas, and be familiar with common design patterns. Have strong coding skills, have business design experience, and be able to solve more complex technical problems.

3. Proficient in using mainstream JAVA open-source frameworks, such as Spring, Spring boot, Spring cloud, myBatis, etc.

4. Familiar with MySql, capable of database design and optimization, familiar with redis caching technology, familiar with message middleware, and ElasticSearch.

5. Have strong learning ability, communication ability, teamwork ability and independent problem-solving ability, high sense of responsibility, and be able to withstand greater work pressure. Able to guide junior engineers and specialists to complete simple business development work.

6. Those with Internet platform development experience and familiarity with distribution and concurrency will be given priority

T4:

1. Bachelor's degree or above, computer or related major, more than 5 years of Java EE development experience.

2. Have a solid foundation in JAVA, have strong OOP and OOD development ideas, and be familiar with various design patterns. Have strong coding skills, have business design experience, and be able to solve more complex technical problems.

3. Proficient in using mainstream JAVA open-source frameworks, such as Spring, Spring boot, Spring cloud, myBatis, etc.

4. Familiar with MySql, capable of database design and optimization, familiar with redis caching technology, familiar with message middleware, and ElasticSearch.

5. Familiar with distributed development and application scenarios of distributed components

6. Have some experience in concurrent processing and be familiar with performance optimization

7. Have strong learning ability, communication ability, teamwork ability and independent problem-solving ability, high sense of responsibility, and be able to withstand greater work pressure. Able to guide junior engineers and specialists to complete simple business development work.

Job Description

• Design & implement backend APIs 
• Mentor junior developers technically.
• Actively work to reduce tech debt in the backend
• Work towards more stability & scalability of the backend

Eligibility

• 4-8 years of product company experience
• OOP implementation experience. Programming language does not matter. We use Java internally but have hired folks from non Java background.
• Hands on experience in SQL, Dynamo DB, Postgres etc preferred. 
• Prior experience building REST APIs
• Advanced understanding of AWS stack
• Prior knowledge of solving problems at scale.
