Job Description – Flutter Developer (5–10 Years)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Flutter Developer (5–10 years) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable mobile applications using Flutter for both Android and iOS. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end mobile solutions, lead junior developers, and contribute to architectural and process improvements.

What You Will Be Doing

✔ Develop high-quality, scalable mobile applications using Flutter & Dart

✔ Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into fully functional apps

✔ Write clean, testable, and maintainable code

✔ Work closely with designers, PMs, QAs, and other developers

✔ Implement new features, fix bugs, and optimize app performance

✔ Handle app flows involving offline storage, threading, localization, etc.

✔ Integrate third-party services: REST APIs, Firebase, Location, Notifications, Video recording, Payment gateways

✔ Participate in project estimation, architecture discussions, and release planning

✔ Contribute to the full mobile development lifecycle—from concept to deployment

✔ Prepare documentation for architecture, reusable components, and processes

✔ Lead and mentor junior Flutter developers

✔ Stay updated with latest Flutter, mobile development, and Web technologies

✔ Contribute to Flutter Web modules when required

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

Must Have

• 5–10 years total experience, with 4+ years in Flutter & Dart
• Strong understanding of mobile app development (Android & iOS)
• Ability to design & build apps from scratch
• Experience with:
• Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Messaging)
• Location services
• Push notifications
• Video recording modules
• REST API integration
• 3rd-party SDK integrations
• Expertise in:
• Building UI-rich, high-performance mobile apps
• Offline storage, performance tuning, and low battery usage optimization
• Experience using Git/GitHub
• Published at least 1+ app on PlayStore or App Store
• Understanding of Flutter Web
• Basic knowledge of payment gateway integration
• Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus
• Experience with native Android/iOS development is a big advantage

AI Tools Experience (Preferred)

• Using AI coding assistants: GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Tabnine
• Working with OpenAI / Claude APIs
• Using AI for debugging, optimization, and productivity
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

• Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
• Docker containers
• CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Message queues: Kafka / RabbitMQ

Requirement: -

• Managing a team of 3-4 engineers 
• Hands on experience in Web applications and Mobile applications.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Should have experience in React.js as well
• Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
• Familiar with Agile development methodology
• Should have strong fundamentals in React Native
• Should be good at Languages React Native, iOS, Android mobile
• Should be well versed with mobile application architecture
• Ensure and apprise stakeholders of technical feasibility, effort, and impact of implementations.
• Interact with clients to understand requirements.

S/he will be responsible for complete react-native development and collaborate as required with product management and user experience teams. ● S/he will architect and design product features with a focus on maintainability, extensibility, scalability, and lowest operational cost. ● S/he will be responsible for undertaking proof-of-concept work where required. ● S/he will be responsible for coding and implementing features with very high coverage of unit tests and component tests ● S/he will be responsible for managing a team of android/reactive native developers, and perform design and code reviews. ● S/he will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency What are we looking for? ● S/he must have experience in delivering projects using react native ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications ● S/he must have strong design and programming skills in Kotlin, JavaScript, Typescript, react components, Android SDK, Android Studio, SDK, RXJava, HTML5, CSS3, JS, RWD and other mobile frameworks and /or accelerators. ● S/he must have experience with offline storage, multi-threading, performance tuning, memory tuning and RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services ● S/he must have experience with Model-View View-Model, Model View Presenter software architecture, retrofit, and dagger among others

● S/he must have unit-testing the code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. ● S/he must have experience in mobile analytics. ● S/he must have experience in designing, optimizing and integrating business processes across disparate systems and mobile technologies.

• Understanding of native build tools like Xcode, Gradle etc.
• Experience in testing with tools like Jest, Detox, Cypress etc.
• Knowledge about Offline Storage, REST APIs, and document request model.
