InnerHour - UX Designer

Roles and responsibilities:-

• Work closely with the cross-functional teams and collaborate with product managers, developers, marketing team, and designers
• Execute a strategic vision at the onset of a project and work with the team to deliver on this vision at every step of the design and development process.
• Own and manage multiple rapid research, design, and prototyping projects
• Manage design work across numerous initiatives through successful project execution, tracking, and resourcing
• Lead new creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices; drive the direction, style, and methodology of design and accessibility
• Review work and share feedback with design team members

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Extensive experience as UX designer
• Experience in leading a team of designers
• Good exposure to in interactive design and information architecture
• Extensive understanding of *design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Expertise in using popular software like*Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
• Experience designing and managing UX that bridges multi-platforms including mobile apps and web-based applications
• Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
• Team player with good communication skills and the ability to think out of the box

• At least 3 year of experience in UI/UX and product design
• A clear sense and taste in good visual design
• Good knowledge in design fundamentals, such as design thinking frameworks, with the ability to take on a structured approach in solving problems
• Deep empathy and interest in keeping your customers point of view in the forefront, constantly bringing questions back to what will serve them best
• Have proven design chops, experience shipping products, and understand what it takes to build valuable and meaningful experiences.
• Ability to thrive in startups with a fast-paced environment and take ownership for working through ambiguity

• Work on design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
• Work and partner closely with engineering, product, and business partners to find sophisticated but practical solutions to design challenges.
• Compile research, create user flows & design mockups and high-fidelity user interfaces
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability). Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
• Provide design thinking and leadership to develop the right product strategy to tackle problems and come up with solutions that delight our users.
• Take full ownership of your work, and take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way.

• 20% - Design the user flows and mockups basis the product requirements, which would be defined by the founders and shared as inputs by the early users. Key features we are planning to build in the coming months: Forms and Social posting.
• 50% - Design the UI mockups based on the user flows defined above to clearly illustrate the design and functionality of the product. 
• 30% - Create industry and scenario-specific templates that can be readily used by users who are coming on the platform.
• Other short-term responsibilities: Create email and web designs for clients, as part of the product and services business.

1. Working on building the design on Webflow or WordPress using builders, like Elementor, Divi, Visual Composer, Beaver, Oxygen, Brizy, WPBakery, etc.
