Key Responsibilities/Duties:

· Develops and enhances software applications through coding and testing.

· Writing well designed, testable, efficient code

· Involves in code reviews and training.

· Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle

· Delivers highest quality software by creating unit test plans and testing code thoroughly.

· Adept with the tools, applications, and processes used for software development.

· Implements solutions as designed in technical documentation specification and coding standards.

· Creates project documentations and coordinates technical issues.

· Knows the business rules and concepts, software specifications and designs provided by the technical lead and apply them in completing the assigned task.

Qualification: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Here's what you must possess:
Exceptional OOP skills - Solid, Grasp, Kiss and Dry should mean more than words to you. Your daily code must be clean, simple, modular, extensible, and always thoroughly unit tested.
▪ Conceptual understanding of whatever you've worked on - We're more
interested in knowing how & why you used a particular technology/approach to solve a problem. Definitions and theory don't interest us that much.
▪ Decision-making experience - We need you to start new projects from scratch.
Accordingly, you must have the experience of taking design decisions &
influencing architecture on projects

Technology skill sets required for a matching profile:
1. Work experience between 3 years to 9 years in building large scale high user traffic consumer facing applications with desire to work in a fast paced startup.
2. Knowledge on reactive and asynchronous programming is preferable. If you have worked with coroutines, goroutines, high concurrency or optimized number of threads for processing on your backend server you could be a good fit.
3. Extremely proficient at writing performant, scalable and production ready code in Kotlin, Java (8 or above, comfortable with concepts like lambda, streams, multithreading etc), Elixir, Rust, or Golang. Should be familiar with static code analysis, code coverage and code reviews.
4. Experience with NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis or Aerospike is required. Knowledge of graph DBs like Neo4j is preferred.
5. Strong in algorithms, problem solving and data structures.
6. Knowledge of TDD and experience with building applications integrated with CI-CD pipelines (automated build, tests and deployments).
7. Exposure to micro-services with good understanding of containers, kubernetes, logging, alerting and monitoring. Inter services communication. Should know how to handle multiple versions of APIs.

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin.
• Demonstrable understanding of Design Patterns.
• Experience in Context & Dependency Injection or Spring framework, Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience in RESTful/SOAP web services in integrating with 3rd Party API Integrations.
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in multi-threading and concurrency is a plus Experience in JMS messaging using Apache Zookeeper and Kafka is a plus.
• Experience in Angular is a plus. Knowledge of modern CI/CD environments: Git, Gradle, GitLab Familiarity with tools like Postman, SOAPUI, IntelliJ

• Willing to learn our tech-stack (Kotlin | CDI | Angular).
• Develop API integrations using RESTful/SOAP web services.
• Significant technical academic course work or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge on cloud infrastructure is a plus.

Required Experience and Skills :
 A minimum of 6 years of software development experience

solutions
 Understanding of design principles behind scalable and testable applications

 Ability to take a lead role and take ownership of complex data integration deliveries.
 A degree in Computer Science and/or a business related degree; or equivalent work experience.

Basic Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of algorithms/data structures is a must
• Strong Java software development experience – with a focus on Java 8 & 9
• Experience with NoSql databases – ideally with MongoDB
• Experience implementing REST apis – ideally with JAX-RS
• Experience with Reactive Programming – ideally with RxJava
• Experience implementing unit tests

• Experience developing applications in fintech or established financial institutions

You must have:

 

• Experience in the design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise applications with multiple tiers
• Exposure on agile test-driven development for robustness, usability, reliability, security and performance.
• Strong technical aptitude for any programming language, preferred, Core JAVA and Spring Boot and other Spring libraries, Eureka, Hystrix etc.
• Experience of creating architecture or developing web services using Open source technologies and to integrate applications with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Solid understanding of OOPS, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience on Kafka / Scala / Storm / Elastic Search and Web Services like RESTful.
• Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
• Extensive experience with version control systems (Git is preferred) and issue tracking systems (JIRA is preferred)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional server development experience using Java or similar object-oriented language
• Strong understanding of web-based architecture - web servers, load balancing, caching, databases etc.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Experience developing data driven web applications
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development, including Amazon AWS ecosystem
• Experience building and using RESTful APIs

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-threading, replication etc. concepts in cloud applications

Qualifications Hands on 5 - 9 years of experience in the software industry, preferably with product companies. Hands on experience in Microsoft technologies - ASP.NET, MVC 5.0, Web API/WCF, .NET Framework 3.5+, C# and SQL Server Excellent in Object Oriented Analysis & Design Strong design, coding and debugging skills is a must have. Hands on experience on developing Single Page Application(SPA) Hands on experience in designing high performance REST based services Hands on experience on JavaScript libraries and Frameworks like Angular JS is must have Working knowledge of Microsoft design patterns, SOLID principles, development best practices. Should be able to estimate implementation efforts for small to mid-size projects and plan development tasks. Experience with Payment Card interface, Performance security is a good to have skill.
