IOS Engineer

We are looking "iOS Mobile Developer" for Reputed Client @ Coimbatore Permanent Role

Experience: 3+ Yrs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate would be responsible for iOS development for mobile platform for new products & services. 

• To engage hands-on in the development activity of products / services.

• Participate in daily scrum meets & scheduling of tasks, review accomplishments by end of day.

• To contribute to coding / build & also guide the junior developers.

• To estimate task schedules of junior developers & support development team to achieve the tasks.

• Review code quality.

• Preparing time & cost budgets for new projects & revamping of existing products

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Candidate should possess B. E / B. Tech / MCA or relevant IT academic background.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

• Thorough knowledge of budgeting time & cost of projects.

• Should have 3+ years of relevant experience in Android mobile development process with proficiency in – iOS SDK, Objective C, Swift, Cocoa Touch, Realm.

• Should have the capability to handle & deliver projects with emphasis on quality & delivery schedule.

• Experience in working with cross cultural environment will be an advantage.

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

• Should possess necessary skills to collaborate with mobile development teams.

• Ability to manage independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and build application for iOS platforms
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
• Responsible for working on iOS frameworks, Xcode, Swift, Rxswift, Xcode SDK Platform tools
• Responsible to work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

-Strong understanding of Swift & Objective-C, MVC/MVVM, and Cocoa APIs/frameworks

-Experience with AVFoundation, CoreData,Core location, CoreAnimation, CoreGraphics, NSURLSession,

iOS background modes, tvOS, JSON, CocoaPods,3D touch.

-Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

-Strong understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.

-Strong understanding of auto layout and UI implementation.

-Strong understanding of Git.

-Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

-Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

-Establish unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

-Knowledge in making network calls using Alamofile(swift), AFNetworking(Objective - C), and using native

NSURLSession.

-Good debugging skills and knowledge to use Instruments App.

-App store deployment and certificate management knowledge.

-Knowledge in Firebase Real-Time dB and FCM will be a plus.

-Experience in implementing universal linking in iOS.

• You will have end-to-end ownership in helping to launch the first iOS app in the enguru
• product suite. You will work closely with back-end engineers, product managers and graphic
• designers to build different layers of the infrastructure. You will be responsible for
• discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies in your process to optimise the
• development efficiency.

• Experience in publishing iOS apps in the app store, and worked on the development of iOS apps and their integration with back-end services.

• Proficient in offline storage database systems and experience with third-party libraries (including custom libraries
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimisation skills.
• Knowledge of asynchronous and multithreading pattern.
• Excellent computer science fundamentals, including databases, OOP, data structure and algorithm knowledge.
• Experience building fluid custom interfaces for a variety of screens, backed with a strong understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines.
