The Role

Own quality end-to-end across Peliqan's platform — from the frontend UI and data apps to backend pipelines, connectors, and APIs. You'll design test strategies, build automated test suites, and work closely with developers to ship reliable software. Comfort using AI tools to accelerate test creation is essential.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain test plans covering manual and automated testing for features, regressions, and releases.

Write unit tests for the frontend (Jest) and backend (pytest).

• Build and extend end-to-end test suites using Playwright across critical user flows — connector setup, data transformations, data app publishing, API creation.
• Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) to rapidly generate and refine test cases and test data.
• Triage, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct exploratory testing across data pipelines, the query engine, and user-facing interfaces.

Requirements

2+ years in a QA or SDET role, ideally in SaaS or data products.

Hands-on experience with Jest, pytest, and Playwright.

• Comfortable with Python for scripting and test automation.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to craft and scale test suites.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and REST API testing.
• Strong analytical mindset and clear written communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines or database-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with SQL and data validation testing.
• Exposure to Docker and containerised environments.

• Technical Leadership & Delivery: Lead the design, development, and deployment of customized Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices for architecture, scalability, and security.
• Project Oversight: Oversee all technical aspects of Salesforce projects, from requirements gathering to final deployment, including integration, testing, and performance optimization.
• Team Management: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Salesforce developers, conducting code reviews, setting development standards, and ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure successful implementation.
• Custom Development: Architect and build custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce tools.
• Integrations: Design and implement Salesforce integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and API integration tools such as Mulesoft.
• Platform Optimization: Manage, maintain, and optimize existing Salesforce environments, identifying opportunities for improvements in performance, security, and user experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Salesforce releases and platform enhancements, recommending updates and innovations to keep systems at the cutting edge.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), ensuring smooth and efficient code management processes.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development and technical leadership, with in-depth knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations.
• Strong experience in architecting scalable and secure Salesforce solutions, with proven success in delivering complex technical projects.
• Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and platform capabilities, with a deep understanding of platform limitations and opportunities.
• Extensive hands-on experience with API integration tools such as REST, SOAP, and Mulesoft.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage resources, and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of efficiently resolving complex technical challenges.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Salesforce Platform Developer II are highly preferred.
• Experience with implementing DevOps processes, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Commis III (Entry-Level/Junior):

• Focus: Learning fundamentals, basic prep.
• Duties: Washing, peeling, chopping vegetables; measuring ingredients; cleaning workstations; basic stock rotation; assisting with simple tasks. 

Commis II (Mid-Level):

• Focus: Expanding skills, handling more varied tasks.
• Duties: All Commis III duties plus assisting with simple cooking, plating, managing inventory, receiving deliveries, and learning specific station techniques. 

Commis I (Senior Commis):

• Focus: More complex techniques, independent station support.
• Duties: Performing more complex prep and cooking; helping with menu items; potentially leading prep for a small section; ensuring quality standards; supporting Commis II/III. 

Shared Responsibilities (All Levels):

• Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining clean stations, following food safety/HACCP standards.
• Support: Assisting senior chefs (Chef de Partie, Sous Chef) with daily operations.
• Inventory: Storing, rotating, and monitoring stock.
• Learning: Willingness to learn recipes, techniques, and equipment.
