Job Role: Video Editor

Experience Level: 4+ years

Location: Bangalore, Onsite

About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Video Editor with a strong creative eye and hands-on technical skills. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging video content across a variety of formats — from high-impact short ads to long-form corporate and brand films. You’ll work closely with our creative and production teams and play a central role in shaping our visual storytelling. We need someone who is as comfortable with the details of sound and color as they are with cuts and transitions.

Responsibilities:

● Edit a wide range of video formats (social ads, reels, promos, interviews, explainers, documentaries)

● Lead post-production: editing, color grading, audio mixing, and final exports

● Collaborate with internal teams to bring creative ideas to life

● Maintain consistent output quality, even under tight timelines

● Receive and implement feedback constructively and efficiently

Skills & Tools:

● Proficiency with industry-standard tools, including:

● Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve

● Color Grading: DaVinci Resolve

● Sound Editing/Mixing: Adobe Audition, Logic Pro X, Audacity (or equivalent)

● Asset & Media Handling: Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Prelude, or similar

● Strong storytelling sense, pacing, rhythm, and visual clarity

● Understanding of different platform formats (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)

Bonus Skills:

● Experience with basic motion graphics or templates in After Effects

● Working knowledge of collaborative tools like Frame.io, Notion, Trello, etc.

● Prior agency or content studio experience is a plus

• Strong Frontend Engineering Profiles
• Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have a 2+ YOE in React.js frontend development.
• Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have strong hands-on experience in React.js, with the ability to build responsive, high-performance web applications.
• Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web APIs, REST, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Mandatory (Education) – B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or IT (BCA / MCA also acceptable).

Preferred

• Preferred (Company) – IT Services / Product Startup companies or boutique consulting firms (e.g., ThoughtWorks, EPAM, Persistent, Happiest Minds).
• Preferred (Experience) – Exposure to Next.js framework

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Receptionist who will serve as the first point of contact at our studio. This role goes beyond managing the front desk—it is about creating a welcoming and professional experience for clients, visitors, and partners. The right candidate will be warm, approachable, well-spoken, and skilled at handling calls, appointments, and administrative coordination with efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a warm, professional manner
• Answer and manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Schedule and manage client appointments
• Coordinate courier and delivery activities
• Provide basic administrative support to the team as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Presentable, approachable, and customer-focused personality
• Prior experience as a receptionist/front desk executive preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

You will be our first marketing hire, and will be responsible for laying the foundation of our marketing DNA described above.

• Conceptualize from scratch our multi pronged marketing strategy - SEO (blog, newsletter), social media (linkedin, twitter), community, education (webinars, podcasts), partnerships etc
• Understand our user/buyer persona, empathize with them, conceptualize relevant content topics, and work with content writers to push high quality content on various platforms
• Identify the right keywords for Zenskar to optimize on - both head, and long tail
• Iterate to figure out the correct tone for our social media communication, and build relevant audience on social platforms
• Reach out to industry influencers, collaborate with them and organize webinars, podcasts etc with the intent to establish Zenskar as an authority in the industry
• Create a vibrant community of our user and buyer persona, with the intent to help solve the problems they face on a daily basis
• Hire as the team grows and mentor junior folks

Proven graphic designing experience - 

•  A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
•  Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe XD, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
•  A keen eye for aesthetics and details
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
•  Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
