Mandatory Skills : Strong hands-on experience in Golang, RESTful API development, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Git version control, and solid problem-solving with computer science fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Golang.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best coding practices.
• Design and implement RESTful web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, and QA to deliver quality software on time.
• Take end-to-end ownership and accountability of assigned tasks.
• Contribute to performance optimization and application scalability.

Required Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience in Golang and related frameworks.
• Good understanding of RESTful API development.
• Experience working with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and solid computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Excellent communication skills.

Good to Have :

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and any JavaScript framework.
• Exposure to Non-relational databases.
• Participation or credentials on platforms like HackerRank/HackerEarth.
• Understanding of end-to-end web application development.

Skills:

• Proficient in Go programming language with experience in building high-performance, scalable applications
• Experience with Java development a plus
• Familiarity with Git version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN)
• Solid understanding of RESTful web services APIs
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with NoSQL databases

Job Description:

1. Experience in software development in Golang
2. More than 1 years of strong API design and development experience
3. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, design patterns.
4. Good analytical and problem solving skills
5. Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, parallel and concurrent code.
6. You should be able to read GoLang code and grasp the concepts quickly.
7. Building RESTful APIs in relevant programming languages.
8. Experience with Git and continuous integration.
9. Experience with SQL/ NoSQL Databases / Postgre / Mongo db
10. Design, build and maintain high performance, scalable and secure code.

• Strong programming skills in Javascript/TypeScript, Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience in API development and frameworks such Express, Loopback, Hapi.
• Good Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in ROR/GoLang , having 3+ yrs of experience on how best to leverage and exploit the language’s unique paradigms, idioms, and syntax. Your primary focus will be on developing Enterprise Grade Systems and programs that are scalable and maintainable. You will ensure that these packages and programs are well documented and has a reasonable test coverage. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

What You'll Do

• Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
• Translating software requirements into stable, working, high performance software
• Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient micro services distributed architecture

What You'll Need

• Working experience on Ruby-on-Rails(ROR)/Golang.
• Worked on enterprise grade systems
• Have designed web services
• Know how to scale systems that have database bottlenecks etc. 
• Having good exposure to Microservices architecture added value.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, SSO, Authentication, and Identity Federation is an added advantage.
• Familiar with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, Pods and Meshes are added advantage.

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field with 3+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages:Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl;

OR 

• MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field 2+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl.

ALSO 

• Minimum 3 years of experience building applications using at least one of the following: web application technologies including: HTML, CSS, or Javascript; OR Databases, for example: Mysql, Mongo, ora similar program; OR a collection of systems connected and communicating via a network connection
• Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring more junior Engineers
• Significant experience with large scale, high-performance systems
