Role Summary - UI/UX Developer A UI Developer at iRage apart from being passionate about coding should be a fast learner. Designing effective and intuitive user interfaces is a critical aspect of our trading business. This stems from the fact that the financial markets and our trading operations are hugely complex. Building smart user interfaces helps us manage that complexity efficiently by identifying and acting on relevant insights immediately upon occurrence. The complexities of the financial markets originate from the fact that every day over 75,000 securities trade on India's largest exchange NSE alone. The exchange publishes a data of up to 100 gigabytes a day and a billion market data ticks a day. We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Developer who will filter insights out of this mammoth data and present it in a lucid way to traders, risk managers and trading managers; enabling them to take faster and better decisions. As a UI/UX Developer at iRage you will be: Creating original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks Developing fast efficient real-time streaming and monitoring services Performing user research and evaluate user feedback Establishing design guidelines, best practices and standards Working together with traders, risk managers and engineering teams to build innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience Exploring and staying up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies Required Skillset Minimum 1-2 yrs experience in UI / UX development Sound knowledge of Python / Golang Experience in developing UI with dynamic / reactive javascripts frameworks like vuejs / react / angular Adept in development of real-time streaming microservices Good knowledge of sql / nosql databases Experience in time series db like influx, OpenTSDB is a huge plus Good practical portfolio of projects to showcase A team player attitude with a view to deliver projects end-to-end.

 

Platform Engineering Team - where HE/SHE will be a direct impact on the entire engineering org by leading the design, build, and test of critical systems leveraged by all engineers every day. HE/SHE will manage and operate CI/CD systems, Artefact management systems, and common infra automation. HE/SHE will be partnering with engineering teams and developing scalable tools and infrastructure that help engineers develop, test, debug, and release software quickly.

 

• 2 to 5 years of total experience and at least 2+ years of Go programming experience.
• Hands-on experience in Go programming language paradigms, constructs, and idioms is a must.
• Experience on Golang frameworks such as https://github.com/spf13/cobra" target="_blank">Cobra, https://github.com/gin-gonic/gin" target="_blank">Gin or https://github.com/hashicorp/go-plugin" target="_blank">HashiCorp's Go-Plugin are an added advantage.
• Understanding of Go specific data structures & algorithms, RESTful web services and work with relational & non-relational databases.
• Ability to write performant, well-documented and unit test covered code in an easily understandable structure.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker/Kubernetes and practices is an advantage.
• Strong passion for Linux and system application development.
• Work independently and proactively to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance.

What you will do:
• Primarily developing/extending Linux command-line (CLI) applications for the various product offerings at Acceldata. (Example: tools similar to kubecli, docker-cli and aws-cli).
• Extending our existing internal tools developed in Go programming language by developing various plugins. (Example: plugins that can extend the functionalities of Telegraf, Filebeat etc.,)
• Develop web applications that will chain the internal tools with the various APIs/services at the customer's end.

Responsibilities:

• Hand on experience in Golang/Python/Ruby on Rails /Node.Js
• Must have at least 1+ years of experience in Team Handling

• Deep understanding of one or more of Java/Go/Scala/C++. Ability to understand and critique
the core library/language constructs.
• Knowledge of processor, memory, network and storage internals. Familiarity with I/O optimized
algorithms.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems including fault modeling, concurrency, isolation,
consensus etc.
• Internals of a RDBMS like MySQL
• Conversant with the internals of systems like Kafka, Cassandra/Scylla, Redis, RocksDB etc
• Working knowledge of hosting and network infrastructure (K8s, Envoy, etc)
• Familiarity with binary serialization protocols like thrift/protobuf/flatbuffers etc
• Familiar with gRPC, HTTP/2, QUIC, etc.
• Troubleshooting memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic skills and data structures.
• Productionizing machine learning pipelines using Spark/Flink/TensorFlow etc
• Familiarity with big data concepts - HDFS, hive, presto, spark, oozie, ambari, airflow, atlas,
ranger, etc. Familiarity with formats like avro, parquet, orc, arrow etc
• Good understanding of branching, build, deployment, continuous integration methodologies
• Experience in leading a team and mentoring engineers

• Ability to make decisions independently.
Desired Background:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from premier institutes preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software design, development & architecture

Roles/Responsibilities

• Own the coding/design of a sub-module
• Review the requirements and provide simple solutions  
• Design the sub-module working with the tech-lead
• Hands-on code the critical parts of the module
• Ensure coding standards, proper design patterns, writing test cases and project mgmt processes are followed
• Mentor the junior programmers
• Peer and junior programmers code review
• Work independently and proactively to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance

You will help us design and develop solutions aimed at providing a means to manage and deploy the configuration specifics of aircraft, based on airlines, aircraft deployed technology, fleet and installation requirements. You will be proficient in Kubernetes and the docker ecosystem. You know at least one or two languages, preferably Go or Python and have good experience working with Kubernetes APIs. You have worked with SDNs and hybrid networks spanning local and cloud resources. You have worked on automation with Chef / Puppet / Ansible and have dabbled with tools like Consul, Etcd, Terraform. You have significant exposure to multiple clouds like AWS, GCP, and Azure and are very conversant with the UIs and the CLI as well. Knowledge of micro-services architecture, serverless paradigms are highly desired.
