We are looking for a talented UI/UX Artist to join our team at GameFuel. You will play a key role in creating intuitive and visually stunning interfaces for game projects, focusing on delivering user-centric design solutions.
Your work will help shape the player experience, ensuring games are not only beautiful but also easy to navigate and engaging. You will collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and artists to translate gameplay mechanics into seamless, immersive interfaces.
What will you do:
- Design and develop visually compelling UI elements such as menus, HUDs, icons, and buttons that align with the game's art style and vision.
- Working closely with game designers, developers, and other artists to ensure that the UI design aligns with the overall game design and functionality. They provide feedback on gameplay mechanics that affect the user interface and experience.
- Designing and implementing animations and visual effects for UI elements to enhance the game's aesthetics and provide feedback to the player, such as button presses, loading animations, or notifications.
- Maintaining a consistent visual language throughout the game’s interface to enhance usability and aesthetics. This includes following style guides and ensuring that all UI elements are cohesive.
- Ensuring that all UI assets are optimised for performance across various devices and platforms, considering factors such as resolution, memory usage, and responsiveness.
- Keeping up with the latest trends in UI/UX design and technology to ensure that the game’s interface remains modern and competitive.
What are we looking for:
- Experience in UI design for games.
- Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Figma or similar).
