Net Developer & API Expert

Position Summary:

We are looking for .Net Developers who are also Experts in API Integrations to join our development team and participate in different established projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·      Work on projects in the C#, .NET CORE and entity frameworks

·      Validate data with Postman, JSON, and basic SQL queries

·      Unit Testing

·      Write RESTful APIs (Core Web API)

·      Writing clean/maintainable code

·      MSSQL Server (Familiar with MongoDB, preferred but not required)

·      Understand best practices and commit to follow them

·      Work on new and difficult topics and contribute to libraries when needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·      Fluent in English

·      Strong knowledge of OOPs concepts

·      Knowledge of the Linux Operating System

·      Strong problem-solving, design, coding and debugging skills.

·      Knowledge about Git and Version Control

·      Preferred to have knowledge of Microservices Architecture (Not mandatory)

• System engineering and implementation in Golang.
• Working on performance issues using creative experiments and internally developed product features.
• Research, propose, and integrate relevant open-source projects based on product objectives.
• Write organized, efficient, and well documented Python/Golang code as an example for junior engineers.
• Participation in all levels of product definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Must include the ability to discuss abstract system architectures from ideas through implementation and
• creatively apply domain experience to solve technical challenges.
• Mentoring software engineers, fostering an environment of trust and accountability.

• Strong Golang skills to develop framework(s).
• Hands-on to design & develop re-usable framework components.
• Hands-On experience on developing framework, designing re-usable framework components.
• Experience in engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development,
• Continuous Integration, building highly scalable applications, application security and functional programming.

• Knowledge of Cloud native would be an advantage.
• Understanding of Kubernetes from Architecture side and also understand the Standard API.
• Code contributed to CNCF or similar community will be plus.
• Performance benchmarking of K8’s or any cloud will be added advantage.

Qualifications & Responsibilities 

• Strong hands-on experience with Java; full-stack development
• Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs
• Deploy and maintain Applications/Systems
• Work with other software engineers for one or more Agile scrum teams assigned to work on the project · Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues, and plans to technology leadership
• Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enhance team velocity · Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team
• Estimate engineering work effort for the engineering team and effectively identify and prioritize the high impact tasks
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines
• Drive a quality mindset within the team

Skills: 

• 2+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience
• 2+ years of experience working as a full-stack java developer
• 1+ years of web development with AngularJS
• Experience or familiarity with technologies such as WSDL, REST and/or SOAP web services, XML, JBoss, Adobe CQ5 DAM, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Hibernate, Spring.

• Work with other engineers to develop and test tools and applications used by team on daily basis
• Play a significant role in the ongoing evolution and refinement of current tools and applications
• Triage, troubleshoot, escalate and provide resolution to production issues.
• Reproduce, document and escalate product defects to the Engineering Team.
• Provide well-thought out and reliable direction, both in technical and non-technical terms, to help customers.
• Take ownership of customer issues, including initial troubleshooting, identification of root cause and issue resolution or escalation.
• Identify and escalate priority issues that need immediate attention.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams which requires strong presentation skills and attention to details
  
  
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience. MS degree is preferred.
• 9+ years development experience in JAVA (using OO Design and Analysis, Design Patterns, etc.)
• High experience in Java 8 Required.
• 4+ years’ experience building highly scalable, distributed and reliable Restful Web Services using Spring, Jersey, etc.
• Should have knowledge on Cloud applications preferably on AWS.
• Knowledge on building Front end applications using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with relational DBs like MySQL and NoSQL Database like MongoDB, Solr/Lucene will be a plus.
• Experience with Tomcat, Jax-RS, REST, JPA, IntelliJ, Groovy, Hibernate is must.
• Experience with build technologies like Gradle, Jenkins will be a plus.
• Experience with Test Driven Development using TestNG/Junit testing frameworks.
• Experience working with version control like GIT.

• Own development, design, scaling and maintenance of application and messaging engines that power the central platform of Capillary's Cloud CRM product. 
• Contribute to overall design and roadmap.
• Mentor Junior team members.

Required Skills:

• Innovative and self-motivated with passion to develop complex and scalable applications.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development with strong focus on algorithms and data structures.
• Strong coding and design skills with prior experience in developing scalable & high availability applications using Core Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate. 
• Work experience with Relational databases is required (Primarily MySQL)
• Prior work experience with Non-Relational databases (primarily Redis, MongoDb) is an added plus.
• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
• BTech
