Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for server-side applications.
• API Design & Integration: Build and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs to support various front-end and mobile applications.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Performance Optimisation: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of functionalities.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs, bottlenecks, and system issues.
• Security: Implement best practices for securing backend systems and data.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation and reports for system and code processes.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in solving Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) problems.
• Demonstrated experience with platforms like LeetCode or similar competitive programming environments.
• Strong aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach challenges creatively.
• A sharp analytical mindset with a proven ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, Java, PHP, or others.
• Experience with frameworks like Django, Express, Flask, Spring Boot, etc.
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
• Familiarity with API standards and development (REST, GraphQL).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or others.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.

Basic Qualification: 

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Node.js  
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB 
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. 
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field. 
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, 
• algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. 

Preferred Qualification: 

• Experience building complex applications on distributed systems that have been successfully deployed for a large customer base. 
• Experience with Agile Scrum, having served as a Scrum Master and delivered results. 
• Application of advanced coding techniques, such as dependency injection. 
• Proven experience with: writing design documents, leading code reviews, 
• applying SCM, managing builds and managing releases. 
• Knowledge of important design patterns 
• Applying unit testing / TDD to reduce testing cycles and production support

Responsibilities

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

Design client-side and server-side architecture

Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

Write effective APIs

Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Create security and data protection settings

Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

Write technical documentation

Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

Requirements And Skills

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

Familiarity with common stacks

Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)

Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache), and UI/UX design

Required background, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 5.5+/ 7+ Years of experience in a scalable product/ecommerce organization·       
• Excellent Java skills, Understanding of Spring framework & MVC approach

• Strong Object Oriented Programming concepts, data structure and algorithms
• Experience in developing scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed backend services

Node JS Developer
JD:

• In depth knowledge of Node.js (with framework, probably Sails.js or at least Express.js)

• Thorough understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or similar technologies.

• Complete knowledge on MongoDB database.

• Excellent coding skill in Node.js, JavaScript

• AWS Hosting.

• Knowledge working closely with git.

• Experience with the Express.js framework.

• Proficiency in Linux environment.

• Design and develop solutions to complex technical problems spanning the development of product features, quality validation, and deployment to customers
