Senior Software Engineer I

Primary Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, debugs, optimizes, and releases both frontend and backend components as well as internal tools.
• Performs code reviews of pull requests.
• Assists junior engineers with development and SDLC processes.
• Works closely with QA analysts for feature and regression testing.
• Writes and maintains unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Helps select and incorporate new tools and technologies.
• Drives continuous improvement of best practices within the development team.
• Identifies and recommends where increased automation, performance enhancements, application enhancements, and quality enhancements may be incorporated.
• Remains flexible and responsive to changing priorities and multiple, concurrent responsibilities.
• Keeps current with emerging technologies and technological developments within the industry.

What you need to have:

• Developer with 3-5 years of well-proven experience in Web UI & middleware REST API development using NodeJS and ReactJS
• Must be well versed with using anonymous functions, Prototypes, Call-back functions, promises in Node JS
• Experience in ReactJS component lifecycle and Redux
• Must be able to create and consume data from REST services.
• Experience in Babel and Webpack
• Must be familiar with Github and GitLab
• Must have strong experience in MYSQL, Postgres relational databases and MongoDB.
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS is an added advantage
• Experience in GCP, Azure, AWS cloud technologies is an added advantage
• Familiarity with continuous integration

Responsibilities:

• Development and Integration of user-facing design elements with server-side logic.
• Design and develop backend API services and databases to serve frontend applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficient in Angular JS or ReactJS, Node.js and JavaScript.
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes in one or more database technologies such as Mongo, MySQL etc.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language. (Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of one or more of Python, Ruby, JavaScript etc.)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

We are looking for a Full Stack developer responsible for the development and maintenance of Vyapar server-side infrastructure. Your primary focus will be building and maintaining the complete server-side infrastructure. Strong understanding of Core Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Relational Database are critical for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable APIs
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the APIs
• Maintaining the AWS infrastructure, security, performance and uptime
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Helping the team members and guiding them for the right design and implementation

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Javascript and NodeJs, HTML, CSS, JQuery along with great algorithmic skills.
• Good knowledge of PHP (Laravel)
• Strong knowledge of AWS Services and good experience in handling server-side infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
• Strong understanding, creating, manipulating, and querying database – Mongo DB, MySql.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web sockets, continuous integration, and caching technologies.
