This is a Backend-heavy Polyglot developer role - 80% Backend 20% Frontend

Backend 

1. 1st Primary Language - Java or Python or Go Or ROR or Rust 
2. 2nd Primary Language - one of the above or Node

The candidate should be experienced in atleast 2 backend tech stacks.

Frontend 

1. React or Angular 
2. HTML, CSS

The interview process would be quite complex and require depth of experience. The candidate should be hands-on in backend and frontend development (80-20)

The candidate should have experience with Unit testing, CI/CD, devops etc.

Good Communication skills is a must have.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various business requirements.

Write and execute unit tests using TestNG to ensure code quality and reliability.

Work with NoSQL databases to design and implement data storage solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members on code reviews and merge requests.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.

Continuously improve software development processes and practices.

Description:

8 years of professional experience in backend development using Java and leading a team.

Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Hibernate, JPA, and REST API design

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other SQL-based databases

Working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)

Experience in DevOps activities.

Proficiency in using Docker for containerization and deployment.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and performance tuning

Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to gather requirements and understand user needs.
• Design and develop web applications using the MERN stack.
• Write clean and efficient code for both the front-end and back-end.
• Ensure the creation of responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications.
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, and participate in code reviews.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for front-end interactions.
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs when required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a MERN Stack Developer.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for building the back-end of web applications.
• Strong knowledge and experience in React.js for front-end development.
• Expertise in MongoDB for database design and management.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
• Ability to work with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies.

Interview Process: 4 rounds( 1st round - Problem Solving/Data Structures, 2nd Round- Coding, 3rd Round- Technical Discussion and Final round with the HR).
